DD finally has gone up a shoe size. She has worn size three shoes since she turned one. I have slowly bought quite a few pair of shoes for her to wear with different outfits. Now that she has gone up a shoe a size I am looking to buy new shoes to go with her summer clothes. I have found four pair I love. A pair of tennis shoes, flip flops, dressy sandles, and play sandles (she can get wet). They all aren't too expensive but I know DH is going to lose it when I tell him what I am buying. I am just wondering how many shoes your LO has? I just want to see if buying four pairs of shoes is crazy.
Thanks.
Re: How many shoes?
On one hand, we have a lot of shoes right now - I bought about a half size up so we should be in these for a while.
On the other hand, I'd hate to shell out a bunch for shoes and her to spring out of them right away. But you need shoes!
Old Navy has super cheap flip flops.. like $3.50 (I got them on sale so I paid something like $2.35).
I have the exact same thing. 4 pairs. In the winter, I only get her two as there isn't the need for the two pairs of sandals.
Let's see-
2 dress pairs, white patent leather and black, for chuch
a pair of old tennis shoes for playing in the mud
a pair of nice casual sandals
a pair of decent tennis shoes
a pair of crocs
and these, which at the end of the day are her favorite and the ones she wears almost all the time.
2-sandals and brown little girl shoes (not sure how to describe them. They just make her look like a little school girl!)
She has two pairs that don't fit from her previous size--sneakers and dress shoes. She is 19 months and has only had four pairs total! I guess I thought her feet would grow faster and didn't want to waste money. Now I see I could have bought a few more
Kate has 3 pairs: sneakers, Crocs, and white leather sandals for dress up. She wears the Crocs 99% of the time.
Ben has 2: Crocs and sneakers
