I might be extra biiotchy today (and I didn't get to read all of the responses to the original post), but am I the only one here who reads "I forgot to take my pill because I forgot it before vacation", "We had sex and forgot to use protection" and " 'We' want to wait for another two years before TTC" as a total set-up?

She "forgot" to take her BC on vacation with her and then "forgot" about using a backup method so she thought she was pregnant. Except she was bleeding and cramping...but it was totally different than her periods on BC so that's why she thought so.

She hasn't taken a test yet but she's probably going to demand a blood test at her OBGYN appt that she has next week.

Well I was just debating running to a store to get a pregancy test and went up to use the restroom before i left (i hate public toliets) and turns out i'm bleeding. Darn I was starting to look forward to it. Although it would be better to pre-plan cuz if I had been this time I woulda had to take a semester off after i go back for a masters. Right, but then didn't she say she went off bcp at the end of April and had already had 2 periods? So, which one was it? Or am I thinking of another moron on here?

I had a period in april and started a new pill pack. then a week later i went up to visit family for a week while my husband took his finals the end of april. he called me that night when I was at my moms and told me I had left my pills on the coffee table when I thought I had thrown them into my purse which had been *gasp* on the coffee table. After a a few days off the pill I started another period much like I did before when I went off the pill before and became pregnant with DS.

BTW my husband knew I was off the pill then too and we pretty much took a chance figuring i'd either get pregnant and have the child we wanted or i'd go back on the pill and back to school. BTW I got pregnant two weeks after that 2nd period i had after going off the pill with my son...my system apparently cleared out quickly after having been on the pill steadily for 5 years. And he obviously knew I was off the pill this time so thanks for accusing me of that...but its just not my style.

Oh and from my calculations this bleeding i'm having is about a week or so too early to be my regular period. My period has been regular all my life...on or off the pill.

I no clue what DD'ing is so I doubt I did it. Hope you all have a nice day! None of your comments offended me.

That wasn't your period, it was withdrawl bleeding.

1. Are you seriously that dense? Cycles change all the time. Plus, if you just went off BC pill a month ago, THEN YOU COULD STILL BE ADJUSTING TO BEING OFF OF IT. It can take up to a year for your body to regulate after coming off the pill.

2. DD = Dirty Delete (AKA you deleted your post after you got offended) so yes, YOU DID DO IT!

Most people who are members of multiple boards would choose one (or two) boards that relate to their topic and post there.

And yes my first pregnancy did just happen...it wasnt planned and we werent really trying. I posted this morning about believing that my period had started because I had been discussing with some women that I was considering the possibility of becoming pregnant especially on the premature board because I had developed a life threatining syndrome that nearly killed me.

I think the biggest issue people have been having with me is that at least with my first pregnancy I didn't try to get pregnant. It just happens. I have always believed that life happens the way its supposed to when its supposed to. I don't think its fair that some people just get pregnant and others have to work for it.
