when can you feel uterus through skin?

I know weird question- but i thought I would ask! When I press down right by my pubic bone I can feel something- not sure if it is my uterus since it's not like I usually and feeling around for it- but thought I would at least ask...

Yup. You won't "feel" anything until about 12 weeks.

I think I can remember feeling mine at 11 weeks? Some can feel it earlier, like if they have had previous children, are carrying multiples, or have extra fluid or something to make it bigger.

I've tried finding it but I don't even know what it feels like.... I don't think I have found it yet. Or maybe I have. I dunno

I felt mine around 8weeks...

At my 1st appt, I asked about it and the nurse confirmed it for me. So I knew what it was.. because like any 1st time moms... I had NO idea lol

Well, when the doctor checked my uterus size at 6 weeks, he definitely pressed down on my lower abdomen. So my guess is yes, you can feel something if you know what to look for. The uterus hasn't "popped" above the pubic bone, but it's still there if you poke around enough.

i'm 10 wks, 1st pregnancy & last week my nurse palpated my abdomen to find my uterus & place the doppler so that we could hear the heartbeat for the first time! she said she felt for the "firmness" of my uterus before she started, she told me not to freak out if she couldn't find the heartbeat b/c its a little early but i'm pretty skinny & she said its easier to find earlier w/ less tissue, so weight can also be a factor as to how early you can feel it. when i went home i tried to feel for it too, and i'm pretty sure i did, but then i got a weird feeling like i'm jostling my baby aroun - haha - so i decided i won't do that anymore

i might be being silly tho!!

You're more likely to feel it after an orgasm, because it gets really hard like a rock... can't miss it!

Around 11 weeks I could feel it very easily when I woke up and was laying down (i.e. I wasn't bloated). It felt relatively hard and for me, when I woke up I could kind of feel it "poking out" of my skin while laying down.

I can feel mine. DH was surprised, but mine popped up above my pelvic bone last week. I think its cause I'm short- only 5'1; it didn't have far to go!
