    Bottom Line...I think of Parker and Mason as boys names...Do I think that they are perfect for little girls as well...ABSOLUTELY!

    I don't think you realize that you are contradicting yourself: her son is named MASON.  So, if you're saying there will be 80 billion other children out there with the same name, then that doesn't make it very unique (according to you), does it?

    Masyn is SO much more unique than Mason.  No one would ever connect Mason and Masyn!!!  Masyn is so speshull.

    FWIW, I think Parker is a horrible girls name.

    I would suggest something more girly.... Parkerina maybe? Parklia? Ooh, Parkelyna!!! LOVE IT!

    For a teacher you really are judgmental.  I guess if a child with the name Masyn showed up in your class, you would have disparaging remarks about their parents because they are "uneducated".  Or, even worse, you would probably shun the student as to not be associated with such a uneducated family.

    My DH and I actually had this on our list for a girl, we would have spelled it Masyn.  I love it!  We also have a DD named Camrynn, I am a big fan of unisex names.

    Sticking a "y" in Mason does not make it a unisex name.

    Yep, it is the kids fault that the parent is 100% idiot who thought they were naming a cat or a Cabbage Patch Kid.

    Sleep Look, you can name your child anything you want to (hell I know I did) but you got to understand that some people is not going to agree with your choices.  Everyone is going to have a opinion.....take it and go on!

    This is excellent advice.

    When you have 20-something posts and they are all involved in some kind of stupid fight over your right to misspell names, it is time to lurk a bit more or GBCB.

    She is not actually naming her children Freighdom and Justyce (or any other spelling of it).  It is a joke.
