How much formula is your 1-2 week eating?

Hi ladies,

I was curious how much formula your LOs are eating in one feeding? One nurse at the pedi told me 2-4ozs, I've read 2-5 ozs, and another nurse at the pedi told me a minimum of 2 ozs. My LO eats generally 3 ozs, but I got the feeling she was hungrier this morning, so I gave her another 1/2 oz.

He's eating 2-3 oz per feeding.

About 2-3 oz. And if he seems like he is still hungry, we make another 2oz to let him snack until he is done. Now, we are at 3-4 oz.

Thanks for the help.

I also should have asked: How often do you feed? I am feeding every 3 hours, sometimes 2 1/2. I generally respond to her needs if it's longer or shorter in between.

At 1-2 weeks, we were feeding every 2-3 hours. More like 2.5. But like you said, I would feed him in between if he was hungry.
