Yellow Goop in eyes...Yuck! Have your LOs had this before?

Her eyes don't look like pinkeye at all, and we also have had a blocked tear duct and it doesn't look like this.  I am thinking allergies?? Have any of your LOs had something like this before?  Don't worry I am taking her to the pedi today, but I just wondered what you all thought.

    Yes my DD has got that a few times and even to where I have to wipe with washcloth to get it out.  Usually it happens in conjuction with a cold or something and the doc said the infection can spread to the eye because it is all connected ears/nose/throat/etc.  My DD has blocked tear ducts too and the doctor said that can make it more common to see the build up in the eye.

    I have hideous allergies and when they really act up I get goopy eye myself.

    Yep, I've had that.  DD had pink eye.  It didn't look like I would assume pink eye would look to me (no redness), but sure enough, when we took her to the pedi, it was.

    This. DD's eyes themselves have never been pink when she's had conjunctivitis (pink eye).
