I still have a ways to go but am planning on working as long as I can.
I am in the process of training people for my replacement so I would assume as time goes on that my job will actually be boring because everyone else will be doing my work.
Guess that means I will have to pass my time by on here!

My c-section is on a Tuesday and I'll take Monday off right before. But I will also be 39 weeks then.
I worked up until my due date with DS1 and I think beyond since I was overdue when I had him. I do work from home, though, so that probably makes a difference.

I plan on it this time and I did with DS. I literally worked until I went into labor. It got hard for me at about 38 weeks too. I'm already contemplating taking off earlier this time around because I remember how hard it was in the end.
I'm sorry! You can make it a few more weeks!! I would be working until 40 weeks, but I got lucky and we have a break from work/school now. I think I would rather be working, sitting at home doing the waiting game is NOT fun.
I was going to but I just got put on moderate bedrest. If they clear me on Monday then I will go back to work. My c-section is scheduled on a Wednesday so I was planning on starting my leave that Monday.

I'm hanging in there. Each day that passes I'm thinking "what kind of crack was I smoking?" I'm supposed to work until I go into labour, so that could be PAST my due date. Not looking forward to that. Every time I have an OB appointment I secretly hope my blood pressure is high enough for bedrest. I'm 140/90 and holding strong and OB is less than concerned. It's going to be a long 4+ weeks.
I was going to work until I popped but decided my last day will be when I am 39w and 2d...we will see what happens but Im already over being here...guess because its a slow time for us. GL!
Me. I'm 36 and I think some kind of alert must have gone out that I'm nearing the end and to get in all your obnoxious requests in to me asap. People are driving me INSANE.
However, if I"m just going to be sitting around I might as well sit at my desk and deal with it, since I know I'd rather have the time with my baby
I really wish I had! I've been off for almost 3 weeks now due to a fall and my doctor wanting me to take it easy. I have to tell you I am bored out of my mind!! I'm so impatient for LO to get here!! Stick it out as long as you can!!
I'm working up until exactly my 39th week. I really wish I would've made today my last day. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm thinking i'll make next week a short week
As of my appt today, not dropped, not dilated, not effaced and station -3. I don't know why but my hunch tells me she's comfty and might not come until after her due date so that might give me a lil extra time away from work before L&D.
I'm here til the bitter end. My feet are horrific by the end of the day but with DD I worked two retail jobs on my feet until 42 weeks so I can do it...I'm just way older now and it takes more of a toll! haha
I was and am planning on working until the Friday before my due date, but I've had to go to working half-days in the office and half-days from home because I'm just ridiculously uncomfortable sitting at my desk all day. Before that, though, I was on modified bedrest for 2 weeks where I was working completely from home.

I plan on working until the very end also. If they decide to induce me, then I plan on taking a few days off before hand. I don't have much time saved, so most of my leave will not be paid, plus I would really like to have as much time off with the baby as possible! Good luck. You are so close, you can do it!
I decided to work until I go into labor. I didn't really ever think about it I guess.
Same here. I'm due tomorrow and plan on still coming in Monday, etc if the baby doesn't make an arrival this weekend.
Why would you want to sit around your house with your thumb up your ass waiting for baby? That would drive me INSANE. Not to mention that I don't want to eat up a single day of my 12 week leave without spending it with my babe.
I plan on working right up until my due date as well. Like some others have said, I'd go crazy if I was just sitting at home! I get antsy/bored easily. Work obviously isn't a thrill, but at least I'm being somewhat productive and getting out of the house all day!
I'm working up to my due date. I can't say that I necessarily want to work up to that point, but I guess I've chosen to because it keeps a full-time check coming in. We could afford me to take the time off, but it's nice having the extra financial cushion when we'll be adding new expenses like formula, diapers, etc. Once I deliver, I'm using 2 weeks paid vacation time and then I'll be working from home for the remaining maternity leave so they'll be no gaps in income. It's nice not to add any financial strain during maternity when I'll already be dealing with the stress of becoming a new mom.
I have to work til I go into labor. I don't wanna use any of my maternity leave before LO is actually here. Plus I may use some of my vacation time to extend my maternity leave. I know I'm gonna be miserable those last few weeks but I'd rather be at home after he's here.

I am working till i go into labor. I don't get paid for time off so yes i'll work even if i dont' want too.. and i'm trying to save as much as i can since i won't get paid for the 4wks i'll be on maternity leave

These are my feelings exactly! Even though I am feeling great. I think I am getting anxious about the thought of the torture of being overdue and at work!

I am doing it & I am glad. First off, it's keeping my busy & passing time very quickly. More importantly, I don't want to lose any days w/ LO.
Edit: I am working until I'm in active labor so it *could* be past my EDD. Hopefully not though.

I'm working right up until I have the baby -- I don't really have a choice. Right now, the only thing that makes it a bit much is my commute.

This is me too. I worked with #1 right up until I had to be induced at 41 weeks!

I am working right up to my due date - in fact I am working right up to when I have her which could mean past my due date at this point - LOL
