Wow, there are sooooo many new ladies here I hardly recognize anyone! Let's play get to know each other!
I am Jennifer, 38 years old and live in sunny So Cal with my DH and dog, Luna. We have been together for 8 years this coming weekend and married for 2. I love to surf, read, cook, entertain and obviously a bump junkie these days. I am also a part-time artist (the will comes and goes quickly) and love to sing in the car.
DH an I have been ttc for two years or so now, with a bfp after 13 months. Had a natural miscarriage at 11 weeks 2 days on 11.30.09. Since then we have had a string of bad luck and learned that I suffer from unexplained infertility. This was our first cycle of Gonal-f (huge fail) and IUI, which was yesterday and today.
OK... Ready....... GO!
ETA: I am also known as Kona08 and have been a part of TTCAL since 12/09
ETA part two: This means you new ladies! 78 views and 14 posts? Of which are mostly by my oldies but goodies!
Re: Let's get to know each other!
Hey Im Trish! Im 24 years old and I live in Ontario, Canada. My DH and I have been together 5 years and married for a year and a half.. DH and I started TTC in November and got my first BFP on February 12th and had a m/c on Feb 22nd. I work for DH at his family business in the accounting department but my real interest is in real estate.
And right now i am burning dinner writing this soooooo ....... brb
My name is Courtney, I live in Jersey, I am 31 and DH and I have been together off and on for 7 years and married for just over 2. I have a 10 y/o daughter from a previous relationship and we have been TTC our first together, ever since we got married. In December I found out I was pregnant, turned out to be a Chemical pregnancy.. chalked it up to bad luck. Planned a vacation for Spring break to go to California to visit family and found out I was expecting in April EDD was Dec 19th, m/c at 7 weeks on 4/26.
Now back to square one, knowing that soon enough if we have faith and keep praising God for our baby that it will come soon. Never charted, don't have the patience, but may try it if I can figure out the whole process. Otherwise I am here!
I'm Courtney, 28, & live in Kansas City with my DH, DS, & our 2 cats. We've been married for going on 4 years. I own a catering company & have just taken up running again in my free time. I'm a total foodie & love to have a couple drinks & a great meal with good friends or family. I used to be a corporate slave (public accounting, private accounting, then marketing) until I had DS & broke out of the mold to follow my dream.
TTCAL sucks (not the board, the actual thing). We found out we lost our baby at our big ultrasound the day before Thanksgiving last year. So, here we are. Wrapping up cycle 5 in 6 months & a BFP's nowhere in sight.
I am Heather, I am 28... almost 29. I live in Michigan... and I love it! DH and I have been together for 6 years and married for 2 1/2. We start TTC last April and got our first BFP in August. We had a missed m/c at 10 weeks and I had a D&C 10.09.2009. I am about to move into our 4th cycle TTCAL...We started Clomid last cycle... I got a bfn today so I am expecting AF to be here tomorrow... We will be trying clomid again... I am talking clomid to shorten my cycles.
Good luck ladies.
Silly Kona.
It's WAY more fun to have 6 posts and then post a BFP, and expect us all to be happy for you.
Oh hell, what was I thinking!?!?! You are totally right! ::snort:: ::runs around all giddy with a lollipop::

I'm Allison, I have been TTCAL since 7/09.
I live with my wonderful DH and our five-month old Goldendoodle, Scout (aka The Doodle aka The Roo).
We have had four losses since May of last year and began seeing an RE in March. So far, we know the cause of one loss - our little boy, known to us as Pumpkin, was lost to Trisomy 16.
To date, they have found two copies of the MTHFR mutation, and we are waiting on a karyotype to determine if we will be going forward ttc, looking to IVF or going the route of adoption. It's a heady next coupld of weeks for us.
What a great idea!
I'm Ashley, 30 years old (31 on the 26th). My DH and I have been married for 5 1/2 years, but together for 13. We live in Colorado, south of Denver. We adopted or first furbaby in September and he now has us wrapped around his paws. My DH is a firefighter/paramedic and I am a conference manager. I enjoy reading, camping, running and hanging out with you ladies. We had been TTC for 11 months before our BFP, unfortunately, I had a natural m/c on 3/9. I am currently on my 2nd month of TTC after the m/c.

I'll play, now that I've made my snotty remarks. I'm Carrie. I'm 25 and have been TTCAL since 09/08.
I am *gasp* not married and really don't care to get married at this point in time. We have too much on our plate.
I have had one loss, which was at almost 24 weeks, and haven't been pregnant since Sept 08. My loss was due to some random infection. My Dr told me the odds of what happened to us were something ridiculous like 1 in 10,000.
I'm pretty bitter, and my ovaries don't play the game (even with clomid). And now I sit here and make b!tchy comments towards stupid people, because I suck at making babies.
Did you read my mind? I was JUST thinking we need one of these!
I'm Johanna, 30. I live in Oklahoma which, despite the tornado season, is a wonderful place. The hubs and I have been together for 8 years, married for 2. We have 3 furballs. A cat, Ainsley and two Weims Piper and Jinx. I love red wine, scotch, pearls, Just Dance on the Wii, reading, grilling out, laying out, the beach, painted toes, bubble baths and the smell of library books. We had our first lost in August of 2009 due to a blighted ovum. Our second lost was a CP in November. I wonder now if my LP/progesterone issues were to blame and if I had known, where I would be now. Currently my LP has made it 9 days with no AF so I am a much happier girl.
You forgot to mention that you are smokin' hawt and I want to hump your leg... er...

Hi I'm Kristen and live in Sarasota, FL. My husband Matt and I got married in July 09 and started TTC in October 09. I got my first BFP Dec 09 and m/c Jan 10. This was our first cycle TTC since the m/c and I haven't O'd this cycle yet :-(
We have a furbaby...her name is Blossom. she was a southeastern guide dog but failed the program because she has the trait for bad hips. She is a 2 year old goldadore and very sweet.
I work as a youth director at a Lutheran church in Bradenton and love working with youth.
For fun I like to sing and play guitar, scrap book, and make jewelery
I'm Kristin. 27 years old, living in VT. Grew up here, but DH and I met in college in NH, and then moved to SoCal for a couple years together. I came back for grad school in Developmental Psych-- I was planning to be in it for the long haul (PhD), but recently left my program with a Masters. I can do what I wanted to do without a PhD (now if only someone would hire me...), so I wanted to stop putting off making a family if I didn't need to. I'm hoping to find work in parent training (cuz we all know there are a lot of sub-par parents out there... not struggling with fertility, of course).
DH and I have been together 7 years, and coming up on our 2nd anniversary. It was already a year ago we were in Cancun for our 1st anniversary and we had a pregnancy "scare"-- I had gone of BC to be an egg donor, and we did the dirty right when I would have been ovulating... if only it were that easy. But it did make us realize we were ready, and we started trying right after, in July. 3 losses, right in a row, starting in Dec, then Jan, then April.
I have a RE appt tomorrow with sono, and hopefully get the green light to try again. We are so ready.

Some things just don't need to be said..
I'm 39 and live in Missouri. DH and I got married in July 09 and got pg on the honeymoon. We lost the first in mid-September after learning at our first appt/ultrasound that the heartbeat and growth was slow. We got pg again in November and discovered a missed m/c again at the first appt & u/s in mid-January. After two unsuccessful attempts to medically manage that loss, I had a D&C in early Feb.
We found out the 2nd loss was due to Turner's Syndrome, but with two losses so close together and our ages (DH is 40), my doc agreed to do some other testing just to make sure there weren't other factors at work. All has come back normal, so we're officially TTC again starting this cycle. I think I posted an intro post back in early December when I thought I was out that cycle. Turned out I jumped the gun and I got my 2nd BFP a few days later(I was a good girl--I didn't post about it but just slinked on over to the other boards). So, I've been on here lurking and posting a bit since the January loss.
I'm Marylynn. DH and I are both 27 and have been together for nine years, married almost five. We're both from Oklahoma and now live in Kansas. DH finished grad school, I got my dream job, we bought a house, got a dog (Bennet the corgi) and then FINALLY started TTC last August.
It took us 5 cycles to get pg, and then we had two CPs in a row (see siggy for details). We took some time for my body to "recover" on the advice of my doctor and now we're back TTC again.
Hey Ladies! I'm Julie from north Louisiana. I work as an academic advisor for a University and DH and I have been married for almost 2 years. We tried for 8 months for our first and had a series of complications (see siggy). We had to wait 6 months from my last surgery to even try again....so we are on cycle 2, 8 months since loss.
I have "met" several great girls on this board and I have appreciated all of the support!!
My name is Bridget and I am 38. DH and I have been together for three years and got married last October. I recently returned to the workforce after being laid off last year. I work as a part-time recruiter and get to work from home most of the time (a wonderful benefit). We live in Connecticut with our spoiled cat, Lola (of the "Copacabana" fame).
We had our first loss in October and then a second loss in January. I am finishing up my 2ww and hope this 2nd cycle after our recent loss turns out to be a BFP.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!
April 2011 CP @ 5 weeks
I'm Aubrey, and I live in NC. DH and I have been together for three-and-a-half years, married for almost 8 months. DH has a 9 y/o daughter from a previous relationship, who we have half of the time.
I have two fur babies: my cat, Liba, and my dog, Riley. We also have a fish, but I feel like his days are numbered.
( DH and I built a house last May, and this month is our year anniversary in our new home. Even though we closed a year ago, we're just now getting to the fun decorating part of painting and such. We're in the process of decorating DH's daughter's room (shh...its a birthday secret!!) and painting the living room (please tell me Tree Branch isn't too dark!!)
I work for a state agency, and I'm in the education field. I focus work on working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. My job requires a lot of travel, but I love not having to do the same exact thing day after day. I love to read, and if I find a good book, its impossible for me to put it down!
I POAS in Feb. and got my BFP! Five days later, I ended up in the ER about two hours away (I was out-of-town for work...). After spending ten hours in the ER, I went home with the warning that I may have a CP, or I may just be "early pregnant". BW on Valentine's Day confirmed I had a CP. After that cycle, I started charting and temping, but I find that I still have questions about charting, so bear with me!
Thanks, ladies!
Hello lovely ladies!!
My name is Aubree and I'm 26 years old. I live in Spokane, WA and work as a Personal Banker at a smaller local bank. My hubby and I have been together for almost nine years and have been marred for 7 months.
We got our first BFP on January 23rd of 2010. I ended up finding out that I had a missed miscarriage on February 25th. It has been a tough two month of grieving and healing . I am currently finishing up with my second AF after the miscarriage, so we are going to start trying very soon!! Hopefully we will get our forever baby soon.

I'll hold you in my heart until I hold you in heaven.
I'm Jordan and I'm 23. DH and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for almost 3 years. We live in Odessa, TX and have 3 furbabies. My niece and nephews are what get me through all of the tttc craziness because they remind me that its all worth it.
We have been ttc for a year now with 1 m/c. Back in Sept I found out I was pg and two days later m/c. Since then I have been diagnosed with PCOS and informed that since i am not overweight and have PCOS that it will be even more difficult for me to conceive again. Lucky me.
I mostly just lurk on here but definitely bump daily!
My name is Amye, my hubby Jay and I have dated since 2002 married since 10/08 and TTC since late 2003. We live in NH
We got pregnant after many round sof clomid and follistim to triplets, we lost one in January and then twins in March.
Due to the time line of getting pregnant, my RE suggested (when I was ready) to start again soon. We are currently in our first round of follistim since the loss.
I have 4 furbabies who are my children.
Anything else just ask away.

I'm Danielle... I am 27 years old and from a suburb of Seattle. DH and I have been married for 6 years, together for 8. We have 2 fur-babies, Shelby Eleanor the Great Dane and Peanut Fvcker, the Wonder Dachshund. I like to read, Bump, and decorate my house. We have been TTC for 3 years. It took almost 2 years to have regular periods from being off Depo-Provera. After that, I miscarried a total of 3 times, 2 medically confirmed. I used to chart, and did a few months of Femara, but we're taking a break from all that to make sure we don't end up institutionalized. I have been bumping on and off for about a year.

I'm Trisha, ETA: I'm 29. DH and I met in High School but we're totally not gushy HS sweethearts! We got married in '04 and I spent alot of time on the Knot. We have never avoided, but I never got pg on my own. At year 4, we sought help and I had an HSG, a laparoscopic exploratory surgery, nothing structurally wrong but I have PCOS and don't ovulate. So finally after years of trying, 3 failed Clomid cycles, I conceived twins on Follistim/IUI. We were blissful (except the severe, severe m/s) until week 17 when I lost them. My job is uber boring, I'm biding my time until I get pg again so I can quit, but I love to organize, clean, decorate, read, amateur photographer, etc.
We have 2 CRAZY 55lb mutt furbabies who rule our house...
Now I'm going back to read everyone else's bios!!!
