I'm Vicky - 28 years old and I live in Sudbury Ontario. The city with the Big Nickel! lol
I am a teacher at a French high school and DH is the estimator for a heavy industrial company. We have been together for almost 6 years and will celebrate our 1 yr wedding anniversary on June 13.
We have been TTC since January and got our BFP on February 21. I m/c on March 22 and we are now back on the TTC wagon.
Things I enjoy... volleyball, slopitch, swimming, golf, the gym, biking and reading.
I'm Kim. I'm 32 and live in Houston. I am a criminal defense attorney. I have two sons. Alex is 3 and Foster is 15 months.
My husband and I have been together for almost 14 years and married for almost 6.
We were very excited to add our 3rd son to our family but we sadly lost him 2.5 weeks ago. He had a chromosome disorder. We are struggling, but trying to stay strong for our sons.
We are going to ttc again as soon as we can.
Mom to Alex - 8.29.06, Foster - 1.22.09, Emily - 6.24.11
Hi ladies! I'm Shannon, 28 and live just south of Denver with my DH, 2 cats, and our dog Odin. DH and I met in college in San Diego 9 years ago through mutual friends, and were married 3 years ago this coming June. We waited to TTC until we bought our house and felt comfortable with our lives, and that time came in Oct 2009. We were fortunate enough to get pregnant our 1st month trying and were thrilled. I started spotting a couple weeks after the BFP, my doctor had me come in for betas and they were rising, so she wasn't concerned. I went in for our first appointment at just over 9 weeks with a gut feeling that things weren't going to be good. Unfortunately, that gut feeling was right, all the U/S tech was able to see was a gestational sac that measured 6w1d. I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum and made the choice to wait a couple weeks to see if my body would "figure out" that I wasn't pregnant anymore and miscarry naturally. After waiting 2 weeks, my doctor felt that the best thing to do would be a D&C to avoid risk of infection, so thats what we did. DH and I took a few month break from TTC this is our 2nd cycle back.
Hi, I'm Kim. I'm 35 (gasp!) and TTC #3. (I hope it's ok that I have two kids. If you all don't want me around here, I will understand.) I live in the midwest with my DH of almost 6 years.
I got a BFP on 4/6 and m/c on 4/28 after 5 cycles of TTC #3. I am an attorney/WOHM who has never practiced law. I've always worked in house for investment management firms. I love it and have a great work/life balance. I like to read (currently reading the Outlander series, on book 4 or 5, I've lost track), running, biking, walking, cooing and watching good and trashy TV. I love a good Lost post.
I'm Sara, 27 years old from Vancouver, WA. I've been married for 2 1/2 years, with my Dh for a total of 8 years now. I work part-time as a RN/charge nurse at a long-term care facility. My Dd is 1 1/2 and I stay home with her during the week. I got pregnant the second time the first cycle after I had my IUD removed. I had a natural miscarriage at 5 weeks 3 days a week or so before Thanksgiving. I mainly lurk, mostly because I don't have much to add, but also because you ladies scare me a bit and I don't want to offend anyone with the pics/ticker for my Dd.
I'm Michele, I'm almost 29, I live in Indianapolis, and I have a wonderful DH whom I've been married to for five years in August. I love to hike and be outdoors, watch PBS, visit zoos, travel, cook (I'm great at soup), drink tea (hot or cold, just no sugar, please), read, and watch 'Lost.' I also play the banjo (folk-style, not bluegrass) and take mixed media painting classes in my spare time.
DH and I have been trying since October 2008 and finally got our BFP in October 2009. In early December, at 10w3d, however, we learned that our baby had no heartbeat and was only measuring 6w6d. I had a natural m/c a week later. This is now our 2nd cycle of TTCAL.
I'm so glad to have found you all. You'll probably never know how much you all mean. Mwah!
BFP#1 10/19/09, m/c 12/5/09, BFP#2 2/03/12, m/c 2/12/12, BFP#3 3/18/13, LO born 11/22/13
Dudes! I'm Tara, and I hate everything and everyone. Well, not all the time.
I'm a 34 year old expatriated Canuck living in the Seattle, WA area while my kick a** husband works for the evil empire (aka: Microsoft). I'm an unemployed Cytologist/Biochemist, so mostly I just sit around trying not to go crazy.
We have been trying to conceive #1 for 10 years now, and finally got our BFP on Valentine's Day, only to have it end in miserable failure at the beginning of April. We saw a heartbeat and everything. :-(
We have 2 awesome dogs, a bunny, and an iguana living with us in our (rented) house, and the world's most perfect mare that I board out at a small, private farm.
I'm going through a fiber geek stage which started with knitting and is now full-swing into spinning yarn. So, you know, if you want some yarn please let me know...I'm spinning far more than I can possibly use!
12 long, hard years of TTC- Miscarriages, losses, lots of treatments & drugs & IVF
Natural BFP (WTF?!) - 06/04/11 ~ lots of complication and drama, but sweet baby Adele born 02/07/12!
BFP #million -another girl for us! EDD - 05-08-15 (but will come early)
Hey all - nice time for intro's since I've been gone a bit. I live outside of Seattle w/ DH and our pup Cash. We've neen TTC for 3 years now. While it seemed we were having troubles getting pregnant at first, then this last year I ended up having 3 m/c's (see below for details). Tomorrow marks 1 year since my first BFP. After our 3rd m/c in March we took a break and I took a bump break. I'm slowly coming back and next month we're going to start trying again with progesterone. (sigh) I'm honestly very wary about TTC again. But its good to be back, as you ladies have been a huge support!
Hi, I'm Amber. Usually post on TTTC, but I am always lurking here. Most of my info is in my siggy. I'm in my 20's, been married for about 3 yrs (together for 9 yrs this month) and my pups are my babies.
Infertility, Life & Loss Blog
Love & luck to my 3TC girls. Congrats to Omega-The boys are here!
If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.
Nice to meet you all. I'm Lynn. I am a 30-year-old lawyer in Kentucky. DH and I will have been married 2 years next Monday. I love running (I have run 3 marathons), and I am trying to get more into pilates and boxing. I'm a big UK football and basketball fan, and I spend my weekends camping, riding dirt bikes, and drinking Miller Lite.
We started TTC in November 2009 and have had 2 losses in that time. We just started seeing an RE last week, so I'm hopeful to get the green light to start TTC again once AF shows up and I get my sonohysterogram done. So far all blood tests have been normal, but there are a few still outstanding.
I posted a little bit after my first loss in January, but I did NOT post my BFP due to my short tenure and minimal posting. I hope to feel comfortable doing so this time, but I have a hard time bumping during the day at work. I'll try, though! My last 2 BFPs were New Year's Eve and April Fool's Day - I'm aiming for Fourth of July this time!
I'm Erin, 27 years old, live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. DH and I were married February 20th, 2010. We have been TTC since 9/09. I got my first BFP on March 1st. March 8th I had emergency surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy and my left tube. I was told to wait 3 cycles before TTC again. We now have the greenlight to TTC, so we are super excited!
I'm currently a teacher, and working on my masters in special education. I love to read, cook, listen to DH play his guitar (he's a musician), and lately, sleep ALOT.
ETA: We have one furbaby, a beagle named Takk. He's a big fat mess.
I'm Heather, 33, and married for 3 years, DH is 47. We have (1) fur baby - a golden retriever dog. We lost our daughter at 28 weeks in December 2009. After the loss, I was diagnosed with Factor V (the minor version - I can never remember if its heterozygous or homozygous), although my "thinks highly of himself" specialist doesn't think that was the cause, but probably would if he read the damn autopsy. Anywho, small side street. We've been trying since mid-February, with no luck. Oh, and more importantly, I love Patron & red wine. YUMMY!
Hi! I'm Valeri, just turned 22 in April. I live in stupid hot Arizona with my wonderful DH. We have no furbabies, just angels. We have been together for 4 years, married for 2 and a half and then a little more. We got married Oct 27, 2007. DH and I both work full time for a major electronics retailer and attend school. I am currently premed but might change directions due to the stress it is causing. I love learning and I love school, but as a premed, you're basically forced to have a 4.0. It's tough on me with work and our losses and whatnot. I might teach instead. We have been TTC since November 09. We got a BFP our first cycle trying but it was chemical. We waited one cycle and got a BFP again our first cycle trying. I carried until 11 weeks 2 days, went in at 11w1d and found out the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. I had a D&C the next day. We're currently waiting for AF to arrive before we can jump back on the horse. We're not really going to be TTC, but were not really TTA either. We love the outdoors and photography. And Doctor Who
Wow we are quite similar:)

Hi, I'm a lurker coming out of hiding to introduce myself. I'm Allison and lately you'll find me on the Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss boards. I haven't introduced myself formally here yet because I'm still waiting for my first af.
Anyway, I'm 35 in live in NJ. Dh and I met in 2002 and married in 2006. It will be our 4 year anniversary in July. I'm an art teacher and in my spare time I like to read, decorate, and be crafty.
Dh and I pretty much stopped using precautions on our honeymoon and only seriously started tttc 1 cycle before my bfp. We were so excited to be parents! I had a sinking feeling that things were wrong even though we saw the h/b twice. On April 9th, when I was 11weeks4days along, I went to the er because my spotting was increasing. Turns out that it was a missed m/c and the baby died somewhere between 8-9 weeks. We are really eager to ttc again
Alright...I am Ashley. I am 26 and I live on the sun, errr, I mean Phoenix, AZ. I am a kindergarten ESL teacher and graduate student. Hubby and I have been legally married for three years, but our actual 3rd wedding anniversary will be June 9th. Figure that one out:) I grew up in Indiana, hubby grew up in Ecuador. He works for Verizon Wireless but is looking for another job in this crappy economy. We have lived in AZ for almost three years. We have one furbaby, a goofy blond golden retriever that resembles the dog from the movie UP. We started "not avoiding" back in December 09 and got pg. in February with twins, which ended in a missed m/c. Right now I am waiting on my post d&c AF so we can TTCAL. Fun times. I have been posting on this board since the loss in early April. Before that I jumped around on TTGP, 1st tri, and the October board. I don't post too much, especially lately, because I have been super busy with school. I like bumping to avoid work though, which is what I am doing right now. It would appear to my hubby sitting over on the couch that I am writing my paper with all this typing, but I am not:) Nice to meet you all and best wishes on your journey!

I feel like we did this like last month, but I will play nice...hello my name is Lanis.
DH and I worked on the job together for six years before we married in May 2009. DH is a police officer and I am a SVU detective. We love what we do, but our work schedules have definitely been an obstacle for us as we TTC.
I went off BC in June of 2009, BFP in August 2009, no heartbeart at 14 weeks and D&C (10/9/09& 11/2/09). The loss was due to Monosomy 21. After some testing it was discovered I do not produce enough progesterone. This was my first cycle on 5MG of Fermara.
We have a dog and two cats that we love!!! We both love the outdoors, exercising, and camping.

I'm Erin, I'm 28 years old and I live in NC. I'm a lawyer. I've been married for 2.5 years. We started TTC last July; got my BFP the first cycle. Missed m/c was discovered at 11w4d. Had a D&C on 10/08/09
Took a cycle off per doctors orders, then started trying again. Got pregnant immediately. Things were off from the beginning. Had spotting, went in for an ultrasound and found I was measuring about a week behind. After blood tests on 12/23, discovered HCG wasn't increasing, so dr. told us to prepare for the worst. After bleeding for about a week, went back for follow up, only to discover a heartbeat. Got our hopes up for nothing. A week later, no heartbeat found and D&C scheduled for 01/08/10.
Since our two losses, in an attempt to make ourselves feel better, we've been focusing on checking items off of our pre-baby bucket list. We're ready to start trying now, but definitely scared out of our minds.
Hi! I'm Jess, 23 and from Northern Virginia (30 min outside of Obamas house). I don't post frequently on here, but I lurk all the time and these ladies have no idea how much support they have given. I got my BFP on December 2nd and lost our baby on December 24th (yeah..Merry Christmas to me) at 7 1/2 weeks. We have been trying again since March, with obviously no luck. I manage an apartment community (I'm the one you avoid talking to when you haven't paid rent yet..ect) and DH is the CEO of his own company, he manages networks. We've been together for 9 years and our first wedding anniversary is the 23rd of this month. My friends and family are my life, so anything involved with being with them is pretty much my hobby .
Hi, I'm Jenn. Dh and I have been together 10years, married for 7. We have been ttc 7years. Got pregnant on our second round of ivf and lost our twins due to an incompetent cervix. We have unexplained infertility, Right now we are ttc on our own since we are in the middle of a move (not far, bought a house about 20 min from where we are now). If af shows we will start ivf#3. I am a retail manager and love to do crafts. Even though since my loss I haven't done much of any type of crafts. Hoping once we move and I set up my craft room things will change. I love the beach and shopping. I am also addicted to food network and love trying new recipes and baking. We have a spoiled dog named princess who lives up to her name.
