What does your mucus plug look like?

I guess I never really thought to ask. I normally have a little more discharge in the morning which is normally clear. This morning I just ran to the restroom and there was a lot of yellowish in my underwear and on the TP. Could that have been it? I am almost 37 weeks-could this finally be some progress?

 Trying not to get my hopes up, I hear that this isn't a clear sign....once you lose it I have heard of my friends not going into labor for a couple of weeks. Is this right?

    Mine looks like someone blew their nose. Very thick and creamy white.

    It's possible that it could take a few weeks for labor or it could be tonight. Basically, the MP just means you're dialating.

    Mine looked like a nasty snot blob streaked with blood.  Yuck.

    Mine was a huge chunk of tissue that was bloody (I had an internal).  It did look like someone blew their nose.

    This is probably not a good idea to do at work, but to Google images and type in "mucous plug". That will solve the mystery for ya.

    I have been losing little chunks of mine since 35 weeks. However, after sexy time this weekend I *believe* I lost the rest of it. It was really thick mucus with white and yellow. There was also a little bit of blood in it. Honestly, if you google mucus plug that is exactly what mine looked like.
