Help please...what is up with this?! (TMI and long)

This may be a dumb question...but I am waiting for my post d&c af (it's been a little over 4 weeks) and I have been thinking she is coming due to some brown spotting the last two days. I usually don't get a lot of symptoms other then bitchiness and zits prior to her arrival, which I have had both. Then last night and this morning I got the egg white CM mixed with brown spotting. I thought that only came around during ovulation? What is going on!? Can you ovulate when your period is due? I am not charting yet. With my first pg (which ended in a missed m/c) I thought I o'd late in the cycle because I was 10 days late before I could get a BFP, even on the early results tests. Am I a late ovulator or something?

    It's hard to say. Since this will be your first AF since your loss it could really be anything.  You could just now be ovulating since your loss, did they monitor your hcg levels?  They say that a normal range for getting af back is 4-6 weeks but can take up to 8 weeks, so it could be ovulation.  Or, it could be AF, your cycles will likely be different for a little while because of your loss so you may see brown tinged CM before a cycle starts.

    I know I didn't really answer your question but I hope I helped you understand it better.  I'm glad that you will be charting too because that will help you know if you O late or not!! 

    DD(9)DD(5.5)DS(3)DS(born 2/1/11) July 2006, lost a baby at 8 weeks, natural miscarriage , May 2009 lost Zoe Eliana at 17 weeks no reason known, possible under developed organs. Lost two more babies in September 2009 at 7 wks 4 days. Had myomectomy surgery to remove a large fibroid in November 2009.

    I get EWCM right before I get AF.  I think it's due to the corpus luteum breaking down - but I'm not entirely sure.

    I had that, my chart was all over the place & thought for sure AF was on her way, and I had cramps with it. My first 2 post m/c AF's were very short. I didn't get AF until about 14 days later so looking back on it I think I did O then based on the temps I had around that time, but stupid me didn't BD b/c I thought AF would come on full force and I didn't want to do that to DH. But I wish I did now...
