Much Needed Nestie Prayers

I've not posted anything about this because I've just been hopeful that things would turn around.  Pel? has a 3 year old friend who lives across the street from us.  Every day, he rings D's bell to see if D wants to go bike riding with him.  Well literally 10 days ago, we rang the bell and my friend came out and told us that D was sleeping but would probably love to play later on.  She mentioned to me that she kept him home from preschool because he's been having a very bad pain "in his tummy" but the doctors suspected that it was some sort of bone infection.  Well we went back the next day (grandma opened the door) and found out that it was far worse.

They found a huge tumor on his kidney and decisions would have to be made.  Fast forward, it is stage 3 Wilms tumor.  He has cancer.  We visited him on Monday (he'd asked to see Pel?) in the hospital.  He'd already had one dose of chemo and he was on a morphine drip for his pain.  He was still in quite a bit of pain and discomfort (I won't go in to details about physical appearance but he certainly looked sick).  P got into bed with him and I read a few stories to them so his mom could touch base with folks.  She also has a 14 month old who I am watching.  We found out last night that the chemo had no affect and the tumor is still growing.  He is now preparing for radiation treatment today.  This is all just devastating.  If you pray, I am begging you RIGHT NOW to take 5 seconds to say a prayer for little D (think, Dora's best friend). I can't even go into how devastated we all are (and you can imagine what my friend and her husband are going through)  It's only been 2 weeks, they've barely had a chance to process the fact that their just turned 3 year old son has cancer.  I strongly believe in the power of prayer, please if you can say a prayer for little D and his family, do.  Thanks, K
