I've got a little bit of mom guilt this morning...

For the first time I completely smacked DD's head right into the car seat handle and she didn't even notice, no frown, no glare, no vocal reprimand... So I guess I've been smacking her into a lot of things with out even realizing it for her to ignore a head smack :-(

I'm the only one she will allow to bump her car seat into things also. When we bump into a wall or a door or a stair she just checks that I'm the one doing it then ignores it. It's like she's thinking "Oh, it's just mom again." When my mom or the daycare ladies do it she gives them hell for it, but not me.

    lol, you obviously aren't hurting her. We have all done it!

    Love your PNP, my mom bought the same one...the elephants are so cute.

    You can look at it one of two ways, either she knows you're a klutz and expects it of you, OR she trusts you so much that she knows you won't hurt her and will be there for her if she does get hurt. I'd choose the 2nd option. We have the same PnP too!
