So I'm 20 weeks today. Over the past couple of weeks, since about week 16, I've felt the baby moving around. Some days I feel it fairly frequently and some days not at all. For example I felt it quite strongly, throughout most of the day, both yesterday and the day before, and then nothing today. It is starting to drive me crazy because on the days when I feel nothing, I can't help but worry.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Re: Inconsistently feeling the baby move...?
I never felt Ava move much until well after 20 weeks... maybe closer to 30. I wouldn't worry about it. I've heard this is typical in your first pregnancy. I couldn't feel her moving even when I knew darn good and well that she was when I saw her wiggling around like crazy at the u/s, and at belly checks they would always comment that she was a mover and a shaker because it was hard to catch her for the heartbeat... and I still couldn't ever feel that when they were saying she was moving. I just figured I was an idiot. But besides all that... CONGRATS on being half way to the finish line! Have you had your U/S yet?
I had an anterior placenta and hardly ever felt DS move until I hit about 30 weeks or so. I felt flutters before then, but nothing major.
I was constantly worried, but he's doing enough moving now.
