TTC lingo on Brothers and Sisters

Anyone see Brothers and Sisters last night? Kevin and Scotty are using a surrogate to have a baby and she's pregnant, but they were waiting to get her HCG test back to see if her levels doubled. She was 10 days past the transfer. Kevin was obsessing over the Internet checking TTC blogs and message boards and throwing "BFN" and "chemical pregnancy." I was amused.

This show tends to impress me with its accuracy in pg-related storylines. A couple of seasons ago Kitty had to have a D&C because she had a blighted ovum. I've never seen another show talk about that.

    Yeah, I was laughing b/c a) I knew the lingo, and 2) of course they weren't using it totally correctly...LOL  Huh?

    I thought it was pretty funny. I loved when he said BFN and Scotty gave him the raised eyebrow. Then he goes big FAT negative. All I could think was that he'd been lurking on the bump...lol.
