I just had a very traumatic experience.

Thought a pedi would be a great way to relax, pamper myself a little bit before the babe, and address the funky toe issue( it had been way to long since I'd had a proper pedi).  WRONG.

I'm giant, and therefore could not get comfortable in the even more giant chair. Enter back pain.

Then there was the heat. So much heat. Hot water. Hot wax. Hot towels. Hot stone. Oh, god not the stones. I thought I would pass out.

Lift your foot, put it back down, okay up again. Well, I'd love to, but this giant belly is in the way and I can't fuucking breathe.  

It was miserable. I wanted to scream, "Stop. Please, God. No more"

But I just sat there and took it. Then proceeded to cry. Once we got in the car, of course. I do have some semblance of pride left.

I'm talking bawl. Complete with mumbled half wailing half speaking words. I don't know. Something about wanting an ice bath.

Mr. J did his best not to laugh. My toes look good though.

    I'm sorry it was miserable for you :(

    It's really quite funny in hindsight. We had a good laugh about it once I stopped crying. But I wish I would have done it oh, about 3 weeks ago.

    as I was reading about your miserableness, I just kept thinking - at least her toes look good now.

    you should take a pic and put it in the baby book.  That was definitely a moment.

    This isn't funny, but your writing is hilarious.

    It could totally be one of those 'terrible experience' forwarded emails we all get.

    I'm sorry you were miserable, but yay for pretty toes!

    Only a 35 week pregnant woman would be miserable while having a pedicure.

    I'm sorry it wasn't relaxing like it was supposed to be, but I'm glad you have pretty toes now.
