Ok, in all seriousness, if you are concerned, you should talk to your OB, not ask a bunch of strangers on an internet board. S/he may ask you if you've had a +HPT first, though. But, you could probaby request blood testing if you think it's necessary. Truly, though, AF is not always going to be the same every month even if you've always been the same your whole life.

Everyone has already posted here, but just FYI I once ovulated on the 40th day of my cycle (that's 6 weeks after the LMP!), even while I was usually having shorter cycles. You really need to chart to know when you ovulated. Also, as you said, it looks like you had your period anyway.

no none of you answered my questions b/c i was Specifically asking those who DIDN'T get a positive result until after they missed they're period. and my other Q was what week. One of my friends who son will be turning 1 in June didn't get a positive result until almost her 3rd month.

Late on this but I couldn't resist. Here's a "helpful" answer.

I did not test until I was 6w, 2d pregnant (I have PCOS with irregular cycles) and my positive popped up *immediately*. As in, the test line came up before the control line. The amount of HCG in your urine at 6w would be high enough to be detected by ANY pregnancy test. YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT.

Helpful enough? I fit the criteria you were looking for and answered your question.

just thought i should update on here. i had my math wrong this would be my 5th week so to answer myself, yes it could have been.If i was my hCG levels wouldn't be high enough yet to register. thank you to the ladies with kind words.
