Theoretically, yes. In practice, not so much. If we butt heads about anything, he can have the final say, but rarely do we butt heads and when we do, he acquiesces to me 99% of the time.
We're actually a team, but he'd probably say that I am "in charge." Not that I wear the pants, by any means, but just that I typically get what I want (within reason - not spoiled) and I do the "taking care of the house" type stuff. For example, if there are problems with plumbing, electrical, etc. that we cannot do ourselves, I am the one who takes care of getting someone out here. I take care of all appts for people coming to the house for cable and all that.

No. I consider myself the CEO. DH is my executive assistant. Who I'm sexually harassing.
LOL---love it!!!! I'm sure my DH wishes that I would sexually harrass him. Haha.
I would say that he is the leader of some things but I am of other things. I'm the leader of the day to day operations--and he's the leader of the "big picture" items.
Nope. He is usually off working long hours and saturdays (sometimes helping out someone on a sunday here and there) it's like he is never home. I guess you could say I am the keeper of our schedules and stuff, as DH has told someone before it's like I am a single mom but still married. Plus if something comes up he always agrees with me (because that is what he wants to do)
We are a pretty good team. In some areas he is naturally more of a leader as well as I'm the leader in other areas. It's all about collaboration of our strengths.
No we are pretty equal in respect to the running of our home. I work outside the home he works inside the home, for the time being anyway.
When it comes to major decisions they are made jointly. WE split things up pretty evenly as well.
Even though I work outside the home I don't look at it as his sole responsibility to clean the home, however he handles the light cleaning and picking up, as well as the cooking during the week, any major projects, or cleaning that needs to be done we do together on the weekend, and I cook on the weekends so he can have a break.
AS far as paying the bills and money management, I handle all of it, simply becsaue I am better at it, and he agrees, I lived on my own alot longer than he did and I manage our household budget to the penny. He admittedly is no good at budgeting and it saves alot of stress and headaches because I am anal about it.

I see us as a joint venture as well. I think there are areas where we each lead, but for the most part we consult each other about everything. I do in some ways consider him the head of the household, which works great if I don't feel like dealing with something. And at times I call myself his secretary because he cannot remember anything and I keep us on track.
DH is the spiritual head of the house, but I'm in charge of the day to day running of things. Also, I watch over the finances. We pretty much discuss and compromise on most everything.

Definitely not...DH is too laid back to be the leader! He's not a 'take charge' kinda guy. Sometimes I feel bad b/c I feel like I guide the decisions in the household, but I know that it's truly b/c he's got a 'whatever/wherever/whenever' kinda mentality. He goes with the flow for the most part...if there's something he really does feel strongly about then he has no issues speaking his mind.
Gaud no. I did tell him the other day that I feel like I'm the manager of our family though because I coordinate everything and told him to be more of a team player before I took over presidentail status of our home and demoted him to janitor.
My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013!
I want to say we have an equal partnership, but in actuality I would probably be considered the leader. Simply because I stay on top of things more efficiently and DH is reeeeeally laid back.
But if there was a decision to be made I would give him the final say. Although his final say would be what I wanted 99.9% of the time anyway. I'm pretty persuasive. ;-)
Definitely the spiritual leader of the home, probably the leader in most other areas as well. He handles the finances and budget and makes the money. I couldn't even tell you how to get onto our bank account! I probably just lead in areas where Brooke is involved.
Re: Do you consider your DH ...
yep! I agree! LOL

That would be a no.
No. I'm the leader and always will be
My mom was the leader in our home growing up so I guess that's why I think I am and always will be. If mom is happy, then everyone's happy

LOVE IT!
Our home and family is a joint venture.
Also I am not the "Surrendered Wife" type.

I think that DH thinks he is the leader. But I am pretty sure that I am the leader.
Said very well. This is us as well.
We consider ourselves a team, but I'd say I'm definitely the more aggressive, so I guess I'm in charge generally speaking.
He just couldn't care less about finances, cleaning the house, etc. He's definitely a "bear with furniture' type of guy.

Yup!

What is a "spiritual leader of the house?"
And no. I'm not interested in a marriage that requires a man to be "the leader" of anything.
we are partners. This is a partnership. And I'm grateful every day for that.
Same here!!
This sums us up quite nicely.
bwhahaha.
"leader"? no. we are a 50/50 partnership. like a law firm - Sarah & Eric, Llc.
Um NO. I am the CEO. He is the maintenance/cleaning service...kidding.
But I do make the money, run our finances, etc.
No, we're partners. Like lala said, he has his responsibilities and I have mine.
Haha exactly!
