2500 sqft! that must be fun to clean. lol. I live in a 3 drm townhouse, I have no idea the sq ft, but even it is hard to clean with my kids running around.
2000 sq ft, 5 finished bedrooms (1 unfinished) but they are all small. 2 bath. DS's room technically isn't a legal bedroom since it doesn't have a closet, but I'm still counting it.
We live in an 1950ish style farm house that has been converted into 2 apartments (upstairs and down stairs). We live in the downstairs so it's more living space. HUGE living room, decent bedrooms, HUGE kitchen. Bathroom is okay, but it only has a stand up shower. We actually host all the holidays at our house because our "apartment" is bigger than my parents and brothers houses.

BUT 2000 sq.ft. of that is not fully completed (we are renovating) so we are living in about 3500 sq. ft. right now with 4 bedroom and 3.5 baths. Eventually we will have 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths.

3200 sq feet but there is like 400 ft of formal living room we dont' even hang out in.
Next house I purchase will be smaller. Living in a big house is great but the energy bills will call you - specifically the damn electricity bill.
I feel ya. We have solar power for this reason!
Not kidding. The county I live in doesn't allow you to create your own energy source. Solar panels are out of the question. I can't wait until I get the hell out of here.
TOO SMALL!!! 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom...although to me it's only 2 bedrooms because you have to walk through a bedroom to get to our room, we use it as the office. we also don't have a basement....oh and our kitchen consists of 4 cabinets!!! 4!!!!!! its in a nice quiet neighborhood and we have great neighbors though. DH bought the house before we were married so he had no clue what to look for.
1366 exactly- haha 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We are planning on finishing out basement soon. We will add another bedroom and bath and a play/bonus room. Once the basement is finished we will have around 2300sqft
1550 sq. ft. 3 bedrooms/1 bath. working on a second bathroom and it can't come any sooner! and our bedrooms are really small... most of our house is kitchen and living space.
Not sure of square footage - 1100-1200 sq ft maybe? 3 BR, 1 BA. There's another bathroom in the basement but I don't count it because we NEVER use it and it needs a major rennovation! We also intentionally downsized our home and mortgage when I got pregnant so that I could be a SAHM. Previously we owned a 2 story 1600 sq ft condo right near the heart of downtown Chicago. I really do miss that place, but I don't regret downsizing at all!

1800 sq ft 3br 2 bath. We are currently finishing the basement and when we do we will have 2600 sq ft of living space and an additional bath. The bedroom down there won't count as "legal" but there will be a bonus room down there which will serve as a playroom. I'm really looking forward for it to be done!
Married in 2008 - DD born in 2010 - EDD 6.15.2012!
Our current house is 1300 sq. feet with a fully developed basement so we have about 2300 developed. 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.
We are building a new home that will be done in September. It is just under 2500 sq. feet and once we finish the basement of that home, we will have just under 3600 sq. feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. We will be living there forever as it is probably more than we need.
1500 sq feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, it works for us right now, but we plan on moving sometime in the next 5 years. We bought a house in a fast growing suburb of Austin. Since we moved in they've built 3 stores, 3 restaurants and a hospital all within a mile of our home. We purposely bought this house with the intention of selling it and eventually getting a bigger home. Our goal is to get 20-30% more than we originally paid for the house.
I think we have about 800 sq ft downstairs. It's a cottage, and the attic is finished, so that basically doubles us to 1600. The catch is that the stairs to the attic are in the 2nd bedroom, which makes it a tiny room with a staircase in it, not a bedroom. It's weird. The little room, as we call it, has like a carpeted ladder in it that is going to be SO dangerous when J starts moving.
So downstairs we have our bedroom, lr, dr, galley kitchen, and the little room. Upstairs is what the previous owner converted into a 2nd bedroom, but is now my DH's office ( he works from home 2 days a week). There is also a walk in closet and an unfinished room that was my craft room, but is now our baby junk room. I kind of want my craft room back...

also we are definitely moving before we have kiddo #2. this house is so small to me now with the baby and all his stuff! But we have to wait until dh gets a promotion or another position/promotion in another state (what we really want). We live 3 blocks from the train into NYC, so we're in a good spot for his commute.

2000 square feet and it's 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms....in southern california......now that's not cheap. but we wanted to buy a home that we could stay in forever and not have to move and "upgrade".
Re: How big is your house?
1200 sq feet.

Perfect for us
