So, I put socks on DD everyday. She normally has on a top, pants and socks, the socks normally match the outfit in some way. I have a couple of pairs of shoes for her, but she only wears them with certain outfits or when I am wanting her to look extra cute.
However, I am thinking that as the weather gets warmer here (in Central Texas we are normally in the 90s by the end of April) that I should let her go barefoot most of the time to help keep her cool. I've also noticed that a lot of the babies at her daycare are barefoot all the time.
So, my question is, what does your baby wear on their feet? Shoes, socks, combination?
Re: What's on your baby's feet?
He wears socks that match his outfit, he rarely wears shoes. I actually just got him an adorable pair of sandles that look like birkenstocks so he will probably wear those soon too!
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
Socks, but when it warms up a little more she'll go barefoot.
White socks...they match pretty much anything DS wears. I have a couple of pairs of shoes, but he's never worn them.
She really has only worn socks. She has yet to wear a pair of "shoes" other than cloth booties.
I plan on letting her go barefoot in the warmer weather since she loves her feet bare.
He's worn shoes, like, twice. Usually wears socks that coordinate with his outfit.
At the moment he's barefoot...we just got back from a walk and we're pretty warm!
Socks. And I'm crazy about the fact that they have to match his outfit.
With us, he can go barefoot...but at daycare he's got to have something on his feet. Especially once he starts crawling/walking.
She usually wears socks since ALL of her shoes still fall off of her feet. But now that it is getting warm, she is barefoot with hot pink toe nails!!
::steps off soapbox::
cute! how did u manage to do that? was she sleeping?

My friend is a pediatrist and said absolutely do not put shoes on your kid unless they are walking where their feet need protected (so no shoes until walking) and then don't buy cheapies, it can effect the way their feet form and cause problems later in life....
that being said...I have the cutest little gym shoes LO wears every now and then
Just not when we go out with that friend!
socks
the best money i ever spent was on an 8 pack of white socks from old navy baby.
I'm using a product called "Piggy Paint" https://www.wishuponachild.com/item_554/Piggy-Paint-Forever-Fancy.htm
It is a non-toxic nail polish and I use their non-toxic remover as well. It was given to me as a baby shower gift
Socks (love the Trumpet Too and one of the other non circo brands from target for their ability to stay on!) or robeez. We have 3 pairs of robeez so far and love them - no socks needed and they stay on and DD doesn't mind them. It's mostly still winter here, so...we only go barefoot inside our place.
Unless we are going somewhere, nothing. His feet are a huge source of entertainment these days.
And if we are out & about and he gets fussy, the socks are the first thing to go. Nine times out of ten it calms him right down.
