What week was the earliest you have found out it was a boy or girl? How did you find this out?

My doctor won't do the anatomy scan until 20 weeks. They want to make sure they get the sex right the first time.

I've heard of people getting theirs done as early as 16 weeks, but later find out that they were wrong.

With my son we found out at 14 wks 6 days, this time I probably won't have another ultrasound until around 20 wks

I found out at 20 weeks but only because my little boy had his legs crossed tight at 16 weeks so i had to wait..and i saw his little pecker lol... as soon as she zoomed in

We found out at 16 weeks during our growth ultrasound. Confirmed at 20 weeks.

ETA: We only had a growth u/s because we are having twins. If we were not having twins we wouldn't have had another u/s until 20 weeks.

My practice does the anatomy scan around 18 weeks. We found out at 17.5 weeks with DS, and will hopefully find out around the same time with this one!

believe it or not, we found out right at 13 weeks at the NT scan. It was a large dangle so she was able to look at the angle. She was right but I didnt go out and buy anything that couldn't be returned!

I was told that the tech was fairly certain it was a girl but not to go out and buy clothes yet when I was 15 weeks. It was confirmed at about 17 1/2 weeks that it was a girl.

At 16 weeks... we paid to have a gender determination ultrasound to find out then. My dr did our routine ultrasound at 20 weeks.

14wks5days. We went in for what we thought would be our "big" u/s, but it turned out I ovulated late and was 3 weeks behind what my OB thought. The tech told us she was 80% sure. That became 99% at my 19 weeks u/s.

With DS I was 19w 4d, and with this LO I will be 19w 5d. Anything before the anatomy scan I would be skeptical of, though it is right for some.

At our NT Scan the ultrasound tech said "looks like a girl" but couldn't be positive (around 13 weeks). At our "big" ultrasound at 19 weeks, it was confirmed that LO was a little girl Big Smile
