Here and there, that is. I've heard of some doctors saying it's fine. With DD I didn't have one drop of anything. This time I am craving wine like it's chocolate! lol
No... After teaching many kids with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome... I wasn't willing to risk it. I might have if I was over due to relax me into labor but before that it was something I was not willing to do.

I think I had a total of 2 or 3 glasses my entire pregnancy. My doctor said as often as once every week or two would be fine. I love red wine, and I didn't see a problem with it.
That said, I probably won't next time around. I just know if there ended up being a problem with #2 I would blame myself for drinking the wine.
Nope. Not a risk I was willing to take, no matter how insignificant the risk was. I gave up everything "the book" says too. I say I won't be as crazy next time, but I probably will.
On occasion - I only ever wanted it when I was out to dinner so I had to get over my thoughts of "what will people think" and just enjoy it when I wanted.
Yes. I had very small amounts at Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. I don't think it was a big deal, and I'll probably do the same with #2 once I'm out of the first trimester.
I had a glass in 2nd tri and one in 3rd tri. Both times I lost interest about halfway through. It just didn't taste as good as it did before I was pregnant.

I didn't. I know full well that a glass here and there is fine, but I could never get it out of my head that "maybe this is the day he's trying to grow teeth and I'm going to ruin them!" or "what if he's forming his pituitary gland tonight?"
Stupid, I know, but in the end, it wasn't worth it to me, because I knew I'd blame myself if anything bad happened, even though I know it wouldn't have been my fault.
Well, I didn't find out I was pg until 9 weeks. During that 9 weeks I had A LOT of liquor of all kinds. I decided once I found out to not have any more even though my OB said it was fine occasionally.
Re: Did you have a glass of wine while pregnant?
No, I always said that I'd have one once I knew I was in labor just to calm my nerves, but then I had an induction so that didn't happen.
This time I've got too much m/s to care about wine so far.
2nd and 3rd tri- one glass of red wine a week.
Its a personal decision- I made it- i was happy with it- DD turned out more than fine- and i am doing the same thing this time.
After my 1st tri was over I did with both kids. My ob said it was fine to have some every now & again.
He also said that late in 3rd tri, when I was having ctx, to have a glass or 2 & take a warm bath. If the ctx went away, it wasn't real labor.
Yes.

Same here. I am not even going to bother this time around.
Yes, I have - but not until later in the pregnancy (late 2nd and 3rd trimester). I only have one glass.
I went out for drinks with my boss a couple weeks ago, and he ordered me a margarita - to which I said "No thanks, I'll have a glass of red wine".
I did not.
absolutely!!

With DS#1, I chose not to and didn't really care about it. With our 2nd pregnancy, I had 2 O'Doul's and that ended in a m/c.
The rational side of me knows that the m/c was not caused by the 0.05% alcohol in what I drank, but this time I am not willing to take the risk.
Yes. Once in a while I would have a glass, mostly on special occasions. As far as I can see, she's fine.
I love wine.
