I'm barely fitting into the one pair of work pants that fit me now. I've been dragging my feet on the unbuttoning thing because a) I'm the kind of person who *will* forget to redo them and go wandering around the office, b) mine are the kind that button inside on the right and hook outside on the left so I can't do the normal rubberband trick, and c) I didn't think it was *that* bad for me.
Well the waistband has been digging in today in particular, and Officemate is gone, so I figured I'd try it out for a minute. Holy hell, what I have been missing! This is so very much better. Must make a point of hitting maternity shops tomorrow evening. Ah, blissfully unrestrained tummy...
Re: Just joined the unbuttoned club
Welcome to the club. I have one pair of "fat" jeans that I still fit into but other than that I have to unbutton my pants or wear yoga pants. I didn't hit this point until 20 weeks with number 1.
I recommend investing in a bella band or similar product... or just looking for some long tops that will cover the waistband of your pants. It'll keep you out of maternity clothes for a bit longer. Also Ross, Burlington Coat Factory, and TJ Maxx have a maternity section so you might try there first since the clothes will be more affordable.
