Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

When did you stop using the jumperoo?

We just gave ours to MIL who takes care of her while we are at work.  We're trying to figure out if it's worth getting another one for our home since DD loves the jumperoo but not sure if it's worth it at this point.

She is not mobile yet.

TIA

Re: When did you stop using the jumperoo?

  • My son lost interest pretty quickly after he started crawling - which was like 9 1/2 months.  It was like entrapment at that point, rather than fun.

  • Our jumperoo was put away around 8 months - D just wouldn't be in it for more than a couple minutes.

  • DD still loves hers.  She is mobile and almost walking but will spin and jump in her jumper while I make dinner or wash dishes.  I give her snack in the tray and she and the dog have a great time hanging out.

  • DS was out of his by 8 months.  Mostly because he's so big and outgrew it.

  • We stopped putting DS in his jumperoo around 11 months.  He always loved it.  I never packed it away and in fact it's still up in our family room because DS LOVES the keyboard that's on it.  He plays with it every night.

  • We got rid of it at 9 months because he was close to the weight limit. Now that he's crawling, he's really not interested in sitting in once place for more than a few minutes anyway.

Can you find a used on off of craigslist?

  • Thanks ladies!

Kaar-that's what we were thinking, maybe getting a used one or a smaller one.

  • We still use ours.  It's in our upstairs hallway so I can contain her when I need to go to the bathroom or shower.  We also have her exersaucer in the kitchen when I need to get stuff done in there.
