When to flip the mattress?

We have a duel sided foam mattress. He still sleeps on the firm side. When are you safe to flip it to the softer side? He is a belly sleeper if that matters.

    I looked at the directions for mine and it said to switch around 8-9 months. I didn't read that until Rosie was around 10 months old, so we did it then.

    hmm. I have the dual sided one too.. but I haven't flipped it.. theres no HARM in her sleeping on the firmer side..right?

     No harm I am sure....I just wonder if the softer side would be more comfortable.

    huh..I wonder if I have a dual. Never knew about this. He has a deluxe mattress pad - so it's pretty mushy anyway.
