Baby knee pads for crawling

Our LO is trying to start crawling, but the laminate floors in our house are making it difficult for her. I thought that I saw some knee pads for babies that have rubber grips to help them stay up on their knees somewhere online. Has anyone ever used these, or would they be a waste of money?

    We dont use them, DS crawls fine without them, but we do have carpet where ever he is crawling at.

    We have hardwood and it took him a while to get used to it (like, 2 days), but he flies around the house now. 

    I'd vote for waste of money.
