eye color question

Aren't the color of the eyes supposed to be pretty well set (done changing) by 6 months?

H still doesn't have a distinctive eye color. They are def. on the darker side, but they don't look brown, green, or gray. It's a strange muddled color that looks different depending on what he wears. I'd call them a dark hazel I guess???

Re: eye color question

  • R's eyes are still changing at 2+ y.o. We call her eye color hazel (brown in the middle, green/blue/gray on the outside). I thought they might stay hazel or settle into brown, but sometimes I think they are getting more green.

DH has eyes like that.  I call them hazel.

  • Sophie's eyes turned light blue to green around 13 months.  At first they looked different depending on the light but now they are a definite green.  Hannah's changed from light blue to a darker blue around 6-7 months.  I guess it depends on the child.
