Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

I am sorry child, but if you can

snap at me that you wear a "diaper, not a pamper", then it is time for you to be potty trained. I told my 3yr nephew that his dad needed to change his pamper (he pooped in his diaper), and that is what he snapped back at me. Um, first off ....you are too old to be wearing diapers. The dad has not taken any effort to potty train.

There will probably only be one, but it will be one big giant flame.

Yes, I think that's too old to not be potty trained.

  • I am crying laughing over here...because I just envisioned you with a finger in the air and your head going from side to side....

    and I do totally agree..

  • I realize boys take longer, my SS was 4 before he was potty trained. (mostly due to the fact his mom would put him back into diapers on visitations). But his father will not even try to potty train...at..all. His excuse is that his son will figure it out sooner or later. Does not realize he as to teach him.

  • I try not to judge late PTers, but the fact that you said the dad isn't making an effort irritates me. If you are having a hard time with PT, fine. But to not even try with a 3 y/o seems lazy to me. I'll go ahead and get flamed with you.
  • I will agree with that. Maybe not the too old part, but agree that if he can tellyou the difference then he needs to be trained.
