1) CM question for you. I am really having trouble distinguishing CM. Unfortunately, I do not seem to have a lot so it is tough. I have read up on it in FF but does anyone else know of a good website that explains it more? The only one I can really distinguish is the EWCM.
2) I called my obgyn today to a make an appointment. In addition to that explained that I have TTC for 6 months and asked if my doctor could recommend a specialist. They ended up explaining to me all the testing that my obgyn would do for me and DH. In your opinion, do you think it is ok to start with the obgyn first or should I go straight to the RE?

6 months is REALLY early to start getting worried unless you already have a diagnosed issue. It can take a full year for a healthy couple to conceive. Remember that you only have a 20% shot every cycle, and impatience is not a fertility issue. Not snark, just honesty.
I guess I should have added I am 35. The nurse agreed I am at that age

Ooh, gotcha. Sorry honey, that's the other reason 6 months is a good time to dive in. Don't be sad, lots of women get knocked up at your age! You might want to check out the +35 board. They're amazing (they even helped me out with some questions about my sudden IVF).
I'd skip right to an RE. I went to a gyno while I was waiting for my RE appointment (several months wait, blurgh), and he got me cycling, but he was also just giving me meds without checking for a deeper issue. My RE took a much more indepth approach, and I know now that I'd have never gotten pregnant with the assistance of my gyno.
Thanks. That is what I thought. I was hoping he could give me a referral since I don't know who to go to. Why do I feel like I am "cheating" on my doctor if I go to an RE? Silly me. (Note: I feel safe adding this feeling on the flame free post, lol)

Here's an annoying newbie question: Does my chart look "weird" due to its up and down pattern?
FF gave me CH at CD 9 (which I thought was wrong) but then took them away today. I know I probably just need to wait awhile and see what's going to happen
Off BCP March 2009
TTC since September 2009
3 rounds of Clomid + Trigger, 3 rounds of Gonal-F + Trigger, total of 4 IUIs - all BFNs
IVF May/June 2011 - BFP!
Hi everyone! Im new! I wanted to know if exercise had any negative effect when TTC? I'm in the gym at least 3 times a week doing moderate to hard workouts, and I was wondering if it would hurt my chances.
Re: Newbie playdate! Have questions, Ask here!
LMAO!
No idea, but you're cracking me up!

Um. Ew.
Ok, here is my newb question.
I'm getting a referral to a RE after DH's SA comes in. What happens at the first RE appointment?

Can I pass down my magical roll of masking tape to you, CHW?

Oh no! It's been that long--it's been forgotten already? I used to spin it when people asked yes/no questions (like a cheap magic 8 ball).
I remember! Sorry, Im on pain meds, remember!
Yes, I will take the masking tape with love.

Can you tell me what my body is doing?
Nope, no additional information. Just that question.
ETA: In all seriousness... I second the CM question. I can't tell if it's cream-watery or sticky creamy, etc. I don't think I have seen EWCM at all.
I agree. If youre at CD68, I would call the dr.
