poll - what is your fav stage?

I was curious what your favorite age/stage is?

As he gets older and older I like each stage more and more!  I love the idea of another Andrew, but, honestly don't really look forward to that newborn stage!

So far my favorite is once they start to crawl!

Re: poll - what is your fav stage?

  • I do love them all!  (Not so much the up all night newborn drama, but I loved the newborn snuggles!)

Right now, my very favorite is when DS stops what he's doing, runs over and gives me a kiss smack on the lips (with closed mouth, that is a definite improvement)!  It melts my heart!

  • Newborn is definitely not my favorite, the best day was the first time she said i love you mama, and could run up and hug me because she wanted to. She's in a whiny stage right now but at the same time can be so much fun because she talks all the time and has an idea a minute. I'm a little nervous about starting the sleeplessness of newborn phase all over again, especially with an active toddler!
  • I remember my mom telling me that every stage was her favorite up until age three - after that apparently I started to get an attitude :)

I definitely loved it when Jocelyn started STTN - then I could enjoy her more during the day. Now I love the fact that she will repeat things I do. She will drop anything to play if she hears me singing patty cake, and last week she learned (sort of) to blow a kiss. So frickin cute. It cracks me up to see her walking with the walk-behind toy, and I can't wait to see this little person walk around on her own!

  • Luke is 21 months and this is def. my favorite stage.  He repeats everything and actually plays on his own.  He loves to play ring around the rosey and on Saturday night Keith and I taught him hide and go seek.  He loved it.  It is so much fun watching him grow up and developing quite the personality.  I just wish he would not tell me no so much when we offer him new foods.  He is the world's pickiest eater.

  • I must be in the minority but I love, love, love the newborn stage.  But I also love where K is now, it seems she learns something new everyday.  I'm sure as she gets older I will love the next stage better than the last.

  • Except for teethiing, right now is my favorite.  She gives affection on her own.  I have strep throat right now, yesterday I was sitting on the couch and she asked me to pick her up.  When she was in my lap she said "awwww" and gave me a hug and patted my face.  It really made me feel better!
  • Every new stage is my favorite :)

That being said, I LOVED around 5 months when Ella starting being more interactive and playful.

But yeah, 8 months is pretty awesome too.

  • So far I have enjoyed every staged they have been in. :-)
  • I've loved it since Ellie has been developing into a little person with a personality (and an attitude!).  I love watching her play and learn new things all the time.  DH said this weekend that he can't wait for this baby to get here so it can lay on his chest and sleep like Ellie used to.  She won't hardly do that anymore unless she's super sleepy.  lol.
  • So far right now.  Like you, I like every stage more and more.  I can't wait until he can sit without the assurance of toppling over at any second and can somewhat play independently so that if I need to do something I can.

  • Granted Lucy is only 12 weeks old but I've enjoyed every stage so far even getting up with her when she was a newborn. But it immediately puts a smile on my face when i see her smile at me and know it's not just passing gas smile, lol

  • I think everyday gets better, so it's hard to say.  I think if I would have known what I know now, the newborn stage would have been my favorite.

  • I have loved them all so far! Each one has been more fun than the last, it seems!
