Hi there! Yes, I'm as green as they come around these parts and hoping to glean as much informations, advice and learned-patience from this great group o'gals.
I just voted on your baby names! I like Sabina, but it's my ex-bf's mom's name so I would never use it! Andreas is one on my faves but DH vetoed it. Where in the tri-state are you? I'm in north Jersey.
Thanks so much for voting JTeneback! I'm in North Jersey, too. Ridgewood.
I'm in Morristown. I do the NYC commute, too. It is a PITA but what are you going to do? I'm a wealth manager so that's where the jobs are.

We do what we gotta do, right? It took a while to get a handle on the commute, but like anything else, after a while, I felt it less. On a side note, it's nice to have a neighbor on here!?

Yup, definitely! We're close in age, too - I'll be 33 in June. Hope to god I'll be KU by then! Then all I have to do is figure out how to juggle my job and commute with a family...

Haha, they are going to lose so much money from that guarantee just from you guys! How is sweet bella doing? And the kiddos, what are they up to today? I want to see M's dance to peanut butter jelly! I think its awesome she made front row!
The dance is so cute! I can't wait until the recital. M is a "jelly".
M is being a bush child in the Candy Mountain Run dance, whatever that means! They are apparently painting her face green.
She is also dancing to Cotton Eyed Joe. This one and the Candy Mountain Run routine are competition pieces.
I'm not sure what her Jazz/Modern class is dancing to, but her costume for that has striped tights and some kind of funky wig.
Right now, M is playing with Bella, C is in his room playing with his toys and S is snoring on the couch.
I so want to come see her do these dances! Somehow it doesn't surprise me that S is snoring on the couch. He probably got up early so the queen could sleep in, right?!?
They are competing on the 27th in Lakeland. Their recital is June 20th. You are welcome to come to either of those!
M spent the night at her friend's so it was just C and of course S got up with him! I am so spoiled.
I assume March 27th? I'm totally there! Yeah, you need a maid... Cause you're not spoiled enough!
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)

My aunt researched our family history and one of my distant grandfathers was the mayor of Morristown at one time. We also have a family graveyard up there somewhere.
RE the maid: My argument is that we have two days off a week to enjoy our time together and I don't want to waste any of it cleaning the house. I don't mind spot cleaning and doing laundry, but we can afford hiring someone to do the deep cleaning for us.
DH's argument is why pay someone for something you can do yourself and that he doesn't trust a stranger coming into our house if we are not here.
I think I am close to winning, though!
That is very cool about Morristown - this town has a lot of history.
We got a cleaning person that works on her own, not through a service, and she had references from people we know. It has not been a problem at all. She is not only trustworthy but also super reliable. It's been great.

It's been good! We went to the mall, did some shopping, ate some lunch, and now I am watching the hockey game and trying to get motivated to fold some laundry.
How is your Sunday going?
Very productive actually. Got up early, folded laundry, made breakfast, and finished my homework (bleh). Now DH and I are getting ready to go play miniature golf with my parents. That means I have to take a break from bumping (nooooooooooo) lol

But, putt putt is fun!
What are you going to school for?
Putt putt IS fun...haven't played it in years!
Going to school for my BA. I'm a late bloomer I guess (I'm 25). I went to a state university for 2 years before my current job offered me the job of a lifetime...so I took money over education. And I recently went back to finish it, My work has an 80% reimbursement, so it's nice!

Nice! I am going back to school soon myself. I work at a university that gives its employees free schooling, so I really need to take advantage of that. I'm just scared I won't be able to handle the stress. It's been so long since I've been in school.
You should def do it!! I'm not gonna lie, it's a little tiring working full time and going to school. But I take online courses which are a little easier...you can go at your own pace. It's gonna take time, but everyone I'll get it done one day! Good luck with going back to school!!!

I will probably be in my 40s when I graduate, but it will be worth it.
Do you like online courses? I'm the type to zone out during lectures, so if I am able to set my own pace, that might be better for me.
You might be too ADD for online classes! It would probably be easier to do classes AT the school anyways- since youre technically already there.

Smooch! First I was like "Why isnt she responding to me!?!" Then I thought 'Duh, shes driving...shes being safe!"
How was your long drive?
It was fine! It went by a lot faster than last time because WI_mommy_hopeful was driving with me! We had a great time. How are you feeling today? Going back to work tomorrow?

You are probably right. I'm just scared of being the oldest person in class.
Math used to be my best subject, but I am going to have to start at the bottom since it has been so long and some of M's homework confuses me. lol
My mom didnt go back to school until she was mid 30's. There are plenty of people who do it. Besides, you know you look 10 years younger than you are!

Oh, thats awesome that you had company! Yes, heading back to work tomorrow. But crazy lady is out of town for the day, so at least I dont have to deal wit her.

Yayy! I'm so glad she won't be there. Hey, we should all talk about Disney soon. It would be so awesome if we could time our trip when Mari will be there, but obviously I will go with what works for most people, I'm flexible.

You should. I made it a condition of moving in with DH. It has saved us a ton of fights, I am sure.

Trying to decide to take a nap or start packing for our trip tomorrow.
I'm learning towards napping. Stress makes me sleepy.
