"I hope you all realize that she took time out of her day to try and be helpful because she appreciated that kind of helpful post back in her first tri. You all, however, are taking time out of your day to be really negative and for no other reason."
But I don't know... something tells me it will just blow up in my face. I agree with what one of the first tri posters said in the OP, they're acting like a bunch of b!tchy cows.

My advice is don't do it. They want to keep things going and that will only add fuel to their raging fire. lol

All the added stress they are giving themselves is going to send them into pre term labor. But if they want a war im sure theyre are some girls on here that will win it for us.

Seriously though, I would HATE to be in 1st tri with that nasty group of girls. I feel bad for all of 1st tri, because of a few b!tchy girls with sticks up their hoo-hahs, that entire board has a bad reputation now.
Uggh, this is why I barely participated in the the 1st Trimester board. Those girls were/are sooo wound up and nasty about everything. No one can ask or say anything without getting some kind of mean or sarcastic comment thrown at them.
Here's what kills me. When I was on 1st tri, the second time moms never had anything helpful to share. Any question asked was practically laughed at and viewed as dumb. The only people who ever shared any nice and helpful advice were "horrible" 1st time moms in their 3rd tri who took the time to wander over.
If the second time moms don't want to read, they don't have to but if they aren't willing to be helpful, they shouldn't scare off helpful people because first timers are always looking for help and reassurance!
do they not think that other boards get unsolicited advice?
We get advice about birth from people who just had their babies (along with the birth stories) and we get advices from people in the months boards. But the difference is, we understand that they are giving advices and we appreciate it and we aren't mean to the person for posting it, we are actually grateful.
Wow. That sucks. I was happy in first tri, too. Very glad I'm not there right now.
So, does this mean that we shouldn't all start posting on 1st tri about whether you can eat hot dogs, lunchmeat, have caffeine, sushi, alcohol, cold medicine, highlight your hair, get pedicures, etc?
They must be having an easier 1st tri than I did if they have this kind of energy for drama--I think I managed to lift my head up off the couch a grand total of twice between weeks 4 and 10. And even then it was just to throw up.

It's like they forgot what it was like when they first found out they were pregnant with their 1st.
I love how the one chic called us all a bunch of a$$es. I usually bite my tounge but I had to say something.
That is so lame. If she doesn't want to share information and get advice, why the hell is she on the board? So she can just b!tch? She needs to remember that just because she has done this before it doesn't mean that this time will be exactly the same or that some people have never gone through this.
If you don't want the advice, don't read or respond to the post. D@mn, people.

I'm not typically one to be snarky, but wowzah! I definitely appreciate learning from you ladies (even if only a week or so early) about BH, mucous plugs, bloody shows etc. because...I don't know about you, but I've never done this before.
Reading WTEWE and googling only helps so much - getting real life experiences and having a platform to ask other ladies who've gone through it, and are going through it at the same time, it really wonderful.
They will feel much different when they get to 3rd tri. I'd like to remember a few of the peaches, and come back see what they're saying when they have moved up in the pregnancy world.
They may be able to move around faster because they don't have bumps (or they think they do, anyway) but I would most certainly use my bump to my advantage in a board-war. Throat punch via my bump, anyone?
did I start this? Yikes! I was so happy when I came to the Bump. I had been a bride shortly before and found the Knot to be horrible...just hateful....but now I am considering leaving the bump too. Why are people so mean? What is scary is that they will be raising children with these philosophies in life. Those poor kids....and anyone who crosses their paths!
Dont leave Kerianne! We need you hear. I agree with you 100% about the raising kids like that. There just doesnt seem to be enough parent responsibility these days and when their expertise backfires on them they'll be the first to say they didnt know what went wrong and everyone else will see a mirror image of the parent. Maybe they are having bad days because their SOs dont like them. Who knows but we here in 3rd tri think they are very sad individuals and wish them nothing but stretchmarks forever!
Your little hands wrapped around my finger and its so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eye lids flutter cause your dreamin so I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
To you everything's funny, you've got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have hunny, if you could stay like that
Oh darling dont you ever grow up, dont you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling dont you ever grow up dont you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
I wont let nobody hurt you, wont let no one break your heart, no one will desert you
Just try to never grow up
I know the rest of 1st-tri is alll into not "butting in" on other boards, but whatever...On behalf of all the SANE 1st tri's I'd like to apologize The drama queens obviously don't know quite what to do with their hormones. It's stressing me out...time for a break from that board. I had no idea what I was getting into. I for one, appreciate any and all advice.
If you read some of the posts on any of the boards and responses from girls on those boards, many of them are snarky as well and very "know-it-all" and NOT from 3rd tri-ers. This is just silly.
They may be able to move around faster because they don't have bumps (or they think they do, anyway) but I would most certainly use my bump to my advantage in a board-war. Throat punch via my bump, anyone?
Put your game face on....we can take'em! I can't wait to see some of them over here in a few months begging to know what a real contraction feels like!
*eye roll* some people just don't know what to do with all the extra hormones. . . . . gosh i don't miss being THAT hormonal. . .oh wait. . . i wasn't. . . . .

From what I understand, it is a handful of snarky a$$ women, and not everyone appreciates it, but for entertainment sake, they are egged on.
I can't wait for them to start entering in the 2nd and 3rd tri boards with other women that are completely over 1st tri drama/hormones and trying to act like they rule the board. Someone remind me to come back around for that.
Re: 1st tri plans their attack...
I'm THIS close to posting this:
"I hope you all realize that she took time out of her day to try and be helpful because she appreciated that kind of helpful post back in her first tri. You all, however, are taking time out of your day to be really negative and for no other reason."

I forgot how wonderful it was having a group of decent women on the same board.
I officially thank all of you 3rd-Tri-ers for being awesome.
lame....
***secretly hopes for a pregnant ladies dance off***
One gal says that she wants to post that she knows all about childbirth and raising a child up to 2.
What about those of us who have been through this once or twice before and have raised kids over the age of 2?
My advice is don't do it. They want to keep things going and that will only add fuel to their raging fire. lol
your "bumping"! haha I love it!!! :-) I'm at work bumping too!
Um I believe the correct terminology isn't "nice and helpful bunch", it is snarky bi*ches. Just sayin.:)
It's nice to see a little drama again. Third tri has been quiet since I was in like week 30.
That was my thought exactly...she can tell me about up to two and i can tell her about up to 14.
Uggh, this is why I barely participated in the the 1st Trimester board. Those girls were/are sooo wound up and nasty about everything. No one can ask or say anything without getting some kind of mean or sarcastic comment thrown at them.
Totally unnecessary and inappropriate!
Bring it on 1st tri biitches!!! I could use the entertainment.
Seriously though, they should really move on.

LOL! I can say that 3 & 4 are pretty terrible (way worse than 2)!

to the West Side Story music....
"When you're a 3rd tri-er you're an elder all the way, from your lost mucus plug to your last labor pains..."
They must be having an easier 1st tri than I did if they have this kind of energy for drama--I think I managed to lift my head up off the couch a grand total of twice between weeks 4 and 10. And even then it was just to throw up.
Ditto. Can't we come up with some better drama?
Evelyn (3.24.10), Graham (5.30.13) & Miles (8.28.16)
It's like they forgot what it was like when they first found out they were pregnant with their 1st.

Right?
