Re: Lost theories from last night's episode?
i'm just confused as to why all the promos keep saying 'no more questions' and that we're going to get lots of answers from here on out....um, i still have lots of questions. and not many actual answers.
and what was up with next weeks trailer? saying we'll only see a few seconds, but questions will be answered....
It usually takes me a long time to digest the episodes so I have little insights to share but I'll give you what I've got:
- Hurley's lotto numbers (and the hatch numbers) add up to 108 which is what Jacob told them to turn the lighthouse to before Jack went all crazy on it
- Each of their numbers is actually a location - Jack's was his house, the Asian looking structure is where Jin & Sun got married...
I want to rewatch it tonight to see if they showed us who's name was next to 108 on the big dial.
That's all I've got so far - you?
I dunno... but it looked like it was going to be totally annoying...
I find it interesting that smokey is the one telling the truth and Jacob is the one being sneaky and not straight forward, I wonder who in the end will be the "good" guy.
My theory on David is that Jack got together with Juliette and they had David. they have since split and Juliette is with Sawyer (wouldn't that be crazy.)
I'm wondering if Christian Shepard is really dead, I know Jack saw his body in the morgue in Aus. but I just keep thinking something is weird there. In both sideways world and island world his body is missing.
But Jack said last night his father led him to that site where is coffin is and his body was missing after they crashed on the island. I think smoky took Christian's body and is now in Locke's body but I don't know why. So confusing!
There've been several Lewis Carroll references in the course of LOST. I believe that the "sideways" timeline is "Wonderland"
Also, did anyone else notice the key to David's house was hidden under a bunny statue?
I totally think this too. Bernard and Rose are too important to the show.
Def. agree re. skeletons. And what was up with Claire clearly calling John/Smokey "not John, that's my friend"? She recognized Jin. So does she see into people now? Or see past their surface manifestations? Or not see the corporeal form of smokey?
Since Claire (aka Rousseau...) has been "claimed", I believe she sees the MIB, not John Locke. She can see through his disguise to who he really is.
Note that she didn't call him a name. I'm wondering... if she had, would it have been Esau?
This Exactly. I think the alternate universe is showing us what their lives would have been if Jacob never existed. Everything is opposite. Did anyone notice last week when they were profiling locke and his fiance was talking about just having a small wedding with her parents and HIS FATHER??? That threw me for a loop.
Also, Charlie was originally in the washing flushing his drugs...but in the AU he swallowed them. Andc again, orinally, Shannon came with Boon from Australia, but on the plane he said she wouldn't go with him.
I still dont get it...I keep saying to my husband when it is finally over, we have to get all the seasons and watch them in a row...see if we can figure it out lol!
