I was too excited the first time I yelled it from the bathroom! lol!
When I got my BFP after I miscarried the first, DH was on a 24hr shift. He came home and went right to bed. When he woke up I had KFC waiting for him with a huge smile on my face and he just knew what I was going to say (we'd gone to KFC after we found out the first time).

I put DD1 in a "I'm the Big Sister" shirt and waited for him to notice when he came home from work
W/ DD1, he knew I was testing so I ran up (he was still in bed) and asked him if he was ready to be a daddy!

Now I wish I had done something more special.. he was the one to bring me the pee stick on his way home from work because he had a good feeling that we were fruitful in our attempts and he just couldnt wait, romantic I know. He went out the next day and bought me a bunch of adorable baby related things to celebrate.
just said- "hey- i got a positive but i'm bleeding so don't get your hopes up"
i was pretty bitter by that point.

We were TTC and I was pretty shocked when I got a BFP especially since we had been trying for awhile and received many BFN. I was still in shock and too excited to wait for him to come home, so I called him right before he was to start coaching his university's water polo game.
When he got home I showed him all five of the sticks I tested on that were BFP.
I had taken a Dollar Tree test that morning and couldn't figure out if it was positive or not. So I took a picture of it to post on the bump (lol). I showed a couple girls at work and asked "one line or two?" and most agreed that it was 2. So I called him up and said "I took a pg test and I think it might be positive but I'm not sure." He said "Ok, well I think you should take another one." I took a First Response at lunch and it was definitely positive. When I called to tell him that he said "I still think you should take another one."
I think we were both in disbelief because it was only our second cycle of not preventing. I was thinking it would take much longer than that.
Well, it was my 4th pregnancy, none had yet to stick, and we had JUST had a m/c (on Christmas Eve nonetheless.) Our RE said hope was lost that cycle so go home and try to heal and then ... voila!
I kept POAS because he did not believe me. He didn't believe the whole "A line is a line" thing. Finally I got betas done and I cried, he cried, we both sobbed because we were so scared and shocked.

My Ovulation Chart
Lame-O, I know.
He was in the shower. I said, "Well, I must be REALLY pregnant." He laughed and said "What do you mean?" "The box says to wait two minutes before reading the test. The second line apeared within two seconds." "Are you sure?" I shoved the test into the shower so he could see it. "Does this look like two lines to you?" "Yeah." "Then yeah, I'm sure." "Can you get that thing away from me? You peed on it."
Is it completley and totally lame that I have tears in my eyes from reading these?
My DH was on second shift when I got pregnant and I was due to test the next morning, but when he woke me up when he got home at midnight I took a test and it was faintly positive. It was a Dollar Store test, so we got dressed and went to WalMart to get a digital at one thirty in the morning.
Text message after I POAS.
His response was "Told ya so!"
I didn't truely believe it until after the Drs app a week later.
"im late..i think il take a test just in case"
later-"thats definitely a line huh?"
Sooo cute!
