Re: LOs finally broke ...

  • we still use ours but not often because he likes to try to flip out backwards of it and gets frustrated when he is buckled in

  • We haven't used the swing for over a week now. I haven't put him in it in months - but DH was using it for naps.
  • Just sold it a couple weeks ago. But, they were only in it a grand total of maybe 10 times between the both of them. They never really liked it, sadly. I wish they did to save my sanity sometimes, trust me!
  • The weekend before last.  DD was able to lean forward over the tray even while buckled in, and we were both afraid that she was going to topple over.  She was kind of meh on it anyway, so in our case it wasn't a huge sacrifice.

Not looking forward to the day we have retire her mobile, though.

  • we still use ours!  he take awesome naps in it!
  • We stopped using it when he was 5 months old and could sit up like this:

I was afraid it would tip over or something.

  • We retired ours between 5 and 6 months. She stopped wanting to use it once she really like the jumperoo.

  • Perhaps I am a bad mother but our swing is still up, not used much but has a weight limit of 30# and K's just shy of 20.  We only use it on the rare occasion that she wakes early in the morning, I'll feed her in bed then let her fall back asleep in the swing..... don't see a problem with that.

    sorry your's died.
