Anyone else have a sucky Valentine's Day?

Mine didn't totally suck.  DH was working on a paper for grad school all day.  I sat with my dogs in front of the fireplace & watched movies.  DH went to get his haircut and brought home flowers.  :)  Then we went to dinner and got into it about how we don't have enough sex.  I (of course) cried so the night didn't end well.  :/

I hate Valentine's Day anyway . . .

    OH hon, I am sorry! I am sure the vast majority of hubby's on this board have the same complaint. It is such a hard place to be in.

    No sex for me either. Laid up on bed rest....and yes, he still asked.  ????!!! 

    TTC #1 since 6/08, MFI dx'd 3/09 Varicocelectomy 6/09, Hydrocelectomy 10/09 IVF with ICSI in Jan/Feb 2010 ER 2/7, ET 2/12 - transferred 2 blasts 5 snowbabies Beta #1 = 22 #2 = 19. Chemical Pregnancy :( FET May 2010 ET 5/30 - transferred 3 embies = BFN Fall/10 Went Gluten free + New RE and Clinic IUI #1 + Clomid 50 mg (1 follie) on 1/18 IUI #2 + Clomid 100 mg (1 follie) on 2/15 IUI# 3 + Femara 7.5 mg (1 follie) on 3/14 = BFP!!!! Beta #1 = 172 (15dpiui) Beta #2 =683!!! Ultrasound at 7 wks: 1 perfect beating heart. Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I didn't have a good v-day either. DH decided he didn't want to go anywhere b/c it would be too crowded, so he stayed upstairs painting all day and I was cleaning the kitchen. I got two card from him, and then he went out later and got baloons cause he could tell I was upset, but I still ended up going to bed alone crying.

    Im sorry your V day sucked! Mine wasnt that great either! We had agreed not to get big presents this year for each other but I was still hoping he would get me a card or SOMETHING!! Instead he took the dogs out and fed them in the morning (which I always do.)

    Sorry about your Valentine's Day.

    H worked all weekend and didn't get home until 10 last night. He didn't have flowers or candy or anything. I was so disappointed!  Most of my FB friends were posting pics of the awesome flowers they received or pics of their fabulous dinner out...I felt like such a loser.

    ::sigh:: I just informed him that he's making it up to me tonight by taking me out.

    My Dh was out of town for the entire weekend!  He did send me roses, but it sucks that i won't see him till after 9pm tonight!

    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF). July 2011 - consult for IVF. Sept 2011, 1st IVF. Got our BFP on 10/2/11. Became a mom on 5/5/12 to a beautiful baby boy! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers
