We just got dishwasher and I am looking for a natural detergent and rinse aid. What brand do you like? What are the pros and cons of it?
I have been looking at Seventh Generation, Ecover, Mrs.Meyer's and Bi-O-Kleen. I want one that does well with baby bottles when the time comes. ![]()
TIA!
Re: Dishwashing detergent and rinse aid?
Buy Lemi-Shine! I found it one day and OMGosh, thank heavens.
You can use it with any detergent and it makes your dishes come out crystal clear. It is all natural (citric stuff) and you won't need a rinse agent
Until I found it, everything came out cloudy, no matter the detergent I tried.
If I'm feeling bored, I might add some vinegar to my rinse cycle, but I haven't done that in months. No need with Lemi-Shine.
I use my detergent and about 1/2 tablepoon of lemi-shine right with the detergent.
I keep forgetting to blog about this, thanks for reminding me!
