A friend of mine said she gave her DD baby yogurt when she was 8 months old. I haven't even looked into it yet, so I don't know what the suggested age is. I thought babies weren't supposed to get milk until 1 year. I know yogurt isn't milk but it's dairy. Am I totally overthinking this?
Re: Anyone give their 8-month old yogurt?
Our pedi gave the okay at 6 months. I know some pedi's like to wait, especially if a LO has problems with dairy.
And it's no milk not dairy. It's so you don't replace the BM/Formula.
www.wholesomebabyfood.com has all the answers, it's the best site! GL!
I thought the same thing as you. But, pedi ok'd it at 7 mo.
He likes it okay. I get the plain Dannon full fat yogurt and mix with a fruit puree in the morning.
