I love these because there are no chemicals in them and they don't smell nasty, but they disinfect as well as Lysol. They make a spray too, which I am really happy about. I'm a big fan of the CleanWell hand sanitizer.
I've been wanting to buy used books but I've been afraid. I suppose if I wipe them all down maybe it will be ok? Too bad DS loves to chew books instead of read them.
I used a wet, soapy paper towel first, and then I used Clorox wipes. With the board books, I actually cleaned every page because Baby C likes to chew on them.
these are actually ones for later--the golden spine ones(i know they have a name, sorry)--you know cinderella, pinocchio, all the classics. so i figure by the time she 'reads' them with me, she won't be in the licking phase, she will be in the 'ripping stuff up' phase
