Every night? Every couple of nights? Turn them inside-out so that they last a week?
I'm curious. I used to do every night, but lately I'll keep her in a pair for 2 or 3 days (provided they elude the snot-faucet that has become her nose...).
If I read this right, I put a fresh clean pair on him everynight. I don't want to wear clothes I wore the night before so I don't subject him to that either.

I was just thinking about this this morning...every morning I throw them in the hamper, but it seems so excessive! I'm probably going to move to an every couple of days schedule.
It depends. It is mostly every night unless we have a lazy weekend and don't go out. Then Iet him stay in the same one unless he drools all over it like lately since he is teething really bad.
Since I wear mine for 2-3 nights I've started putting DS in the same ones for at least 2 nights. Unless of course he spits up on them or something. But since he grows so flippin quick...he's only got maybe 5 pairs of 12 month size jammies right now.
if he stays in PJs during the day or gets them dirty, otherwise every other day. we bathe him every day. never thought of turning it inside out though ...
Depends..if dd lounges in her pjs during the day, i'll give her a fresh pair at night. If not, and she's not sick or a drooly mess she'll wear the same pair 2-3 nights.
I change them every night. He gets a bath before bedtime, and I slather him up in vaseline from head to toe, so they get a bit greasy. He usually barfs on them at some point, as well.
every other night. I used to change pj's every night but it seemed like a waste. On weekends he will stay longer in his pj's so I will change them nightly. I don't change my pj's nightly
Maybe it's just me, but the tone of some of these responses seems to imply the OP is dirty or doesn't care if her child is dirty...just an opinion.
But, anyway - I think the GREENER choice is probably to reuse them providing they are clean and have not been soiled by spit up, poop, sweat, food, etc. Simply "throwing them in the hamper" because you wouldn't want to "subject" your child to wearing the same pjs two nights in a row seems a little excessive. They're BABIES! How dirty could they get sleeping in their crib?!?
DS gets a bath every other night (due to eczema - used to be every night) and occasionally wears the same pjs 2 nights in a row. Big deal.

Her pjs are changed every night. The sleep sack is changed every couple of nights. Some nights we don't use a sleep sack. Depends on what pjs she is wearing and the temperature.
Wow, I must be cruel. I subject my child to wearing his PJs for 2 (sometimes 3 gasp!) nights. They are put on right before bed and taken off when he wakes up so they are clean. I have 2 other children and have too much laundry already.

I get that feeling, too... This is one can of worms that I didn't anticipate opening with this post. Given that DD gets a bath every night without fail and is then in her pj's for about 10 hours, I guess I didn't even consider that it was (socially) unacceptable for her to wear those said pj's again after I've washed the (apparent) filth off of her the next night - given, of course, that she didn't soil them during the night. My bad.
(please note that my distain is not targeted at everyone who changes their LO's pj's every night - sometimes it's practical, or just a personal choice, to each his own. To those who seem to have implied that I've somehow managed to neglect my child - I look down my nose right back at you...)
Re: How often do you change out LO's pj's?
If we don't leave the house DD is most likely in her jammies like me all day.
If she gets a bath or not she gets new jammies every night.
This....
this! he gets a bath every night, so i put him in clean pjs afterward

Missed m/c 10/25/10 @ 11.5 weeks
No you're not. And I keep DS in his pj's a few days.
This would make a great clicky poll.
I change her pjs every 2-3 nights. I also wear mine that much too.
