Feeding LO eggs

My pedi said we can feed DS eggs if we want. Somewhere I remember hearing you should only give the whites. What do you do?

I would listen to your pediatrician. My ped said that it's the white that is a common allergen, but she also OK'd it before 12 months with my first.

At our 9 month appt this past tuesday the pedi said whole eggs are now fine, whereas before only yolks were okay.

I asked my pedi specifically about eggs at our 9 month visit last week- he said eggs are fine, all parts of them. They are a 'common' allergen but it's uncommon to have an allergy to them. So he gave us the okay. But only do what you're comfortable with.
