2. Where/when did you go to college/grad school? Undergrad: College of Charleston, SC,,,Grad school: ODU (Virginia)

3. How many children do you have?  One 12 month old baby girl, and a baby on the way!

4. When did you go on your first date with DH? June 5, 2003

5. What did you do before becoming a SAHM? Taught 6th grade

6. What is your favorite day of the week? Why? Friday; DH often works from home, we usually have playgroup or a fun playdate planned, and we are gearing up for the weekend!

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? Favorite: I get a lot of satisfaction out of vacuuming   Least Favorite: Putting away the laundry

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? She is now really into dancing along to any music she can find; it's so so adorable! She also discovered the silverware section of the dishwasher when I'm loading/unloading; that isn't so cute, LOL

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? DH and I traveled to Hawaii, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and all over the continental US before having DD; we have taken DD to the Outer Banks of NC and Chicago

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future?   We will definitely be returning to Maui and Italy, and we'd love to go to Maine, Thailand, Iceland, Ireland, and England

11. What kind of car do you drive? Honda Accord, and in a few months it will most likely be a Honda minivan (yikes)

12. House/apt/townhouse/condo? Do you like, love, or hate it? We live in house that has a ton of character and we enjoy it, but it is not our forever home. It is just too small, and not in the greatest school district.

13. What would your ideal house/townhouse/condo be? It would be similar to our current one, but about a mile from here (better neighborhood, walk to metro), with a larger kitchen, a fourth bedroom, and a second full bath. Actually, we might buy a small house in the perfect neighborhood, and will just add an addition or two over time.

2. Where/when did you go to college/grad school? Still working on it, I've attended Montana State and a couple community colleges in colorado. I'm hoping to start again at Metro State this summer

4. When did you go on your first date with DH? April 2003, although we were best friends all through high school

5. What did you do before becoming a SAHM? I was an asset specialist dealing with foreclosures.

6. What is your favorite day of the week? Why? any day that DH is lucky enough to have off from work (he manages a hotel...crazy schedule!)

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? favorite.....meh. least favorite: putting away laundry, vacuuming the stairs, dishes

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? he's been kicking a lot more vigorously, and beginning to recognize us with smiles

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? Tennessee, Seattle and Vancouver, Montana, Florida (no trips with kiddo yet!)

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future? anywhere besides Montana (where we are from..... almost all of our vacations include driving home!!)

11. What kind of car do you drive? 2 door Chevy Cavalier (hoping for a 4 door car sometime in the future!)

12. House/apt/townhouse/condo? Do you like, love, or hate it? house. love it, but there are definitely things I'd change about it.

13. What would your ideal house/townhouse/condo be? in Montana, but right outside of Denver (or Seattle).... too much family in Montana, but I love living close to a big city!!

3. How many children do you have? Two. A 16 yo daughter (Jordan) and Ben will be 2 on the 28th of this month.

4. When did you go on your first date with DH? 5 years ago yesterday. February 5, 2005.

5. What did you do before becoming a SAHM? I was an office manager. I'm a SAHM right now because I was laid off. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to go back to work in June.

6. What is your favorite day of the week? Why? Saturday because DH is home and it's my morning to sleep in.

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? Favorite is probably laundry. Least favorite is cleaning bathrooms.

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? Ben said "onion" (for the first time) clear as a bell the other day. It was really cute because he seemed so proud of himself.

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? We went to Aruba for our honeymoon, NYC for our 1st anniversary and Cape May, NJ for a long weekend for a friend's wedding (which was the weekend that Ben was conceived). With the kids, we went to San Diego last July for my brother's wedding.

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future? So many places. Off the top of my head: Ireland, Italy, France, Africa, Spain, The Virgin Islands and a few places in the US.

11. What kind of car do you drive? A Chrysler.

12. House/apt/townhouse/condo? Do you like, love, or hate it? We own a single family house. There are things I love about this house (the area, the size of the bedrooms, the school district, our partially finished basement, that it's 2 full baths, huge trees all around, etc.) and there are things I hate about it (kitchen too small/not enough storage, no master bath, closet in master bedroom is small, the yard is sloped, my neighbors who have the beagles that bark/yelp all the time, etc.). It's a nice house, but it's definitely not our 'forever' home.

13. What would your ideal house/townhouse/condo be? I want a house that's a little bigger than what we have now - I think 2500-2600 sq ft would be ideal. A bigger kitchen with ample storage and counter space is a must. I want a bigger living room and dining room. I would love a family room right next to the kitchen, I want a master suite, a flat back yard, no dogs near us, a fireplace would be nice, and a half bath on the main floor.

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future? I would love to take DH to California. I have family out there that hasn't even met him yet!

11. What kind of car do you drive? '99 Saturn... hoping for a new SUV heres soon!

12. House/apt/townhouse/condo? Do you like, love, or hate it? we own a house; I just like it. It's on the small size, but it was what we could afford and we are making it work!

13. What would your ideal house/townhouse/condo be? I love the look of the log-cabin style houses. DH does too and we are hoping one day to build one on a lot of land.

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? She started saying 'no' and took her first shower ('no' was first used when i tried to get her out).

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? Nowhere, really. We were at sea world with the ILs when I got BFP but we haven't done any real traveling.

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? Favorite - cooking dinner. Least favorite - anything involving laundry (washing/drying/folding/ironing/putting away)

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? He started counting 12, 13 and 14. Forgot about 11, though...

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? St. Maarten, Nassau, Dominican Republic, San Francisco, Napa, Maui, Venice, Rome and Paris.

6. What is your favorite day of the week? Why? Saturday, because DH is home all day and we get to hang out as a family

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? Favorite is cooking, least favorite is cleaning the shower and bathtub.

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? DS discovered the art of sleeping through the night!!

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? Disney World (Florida), Kauai Hawaii, Illinois, Dallas, Las Vegas (not in that order (but close enough)

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future? New York & Ireland (for different reasons obviously)

12. House/apt/townhouse/condo? Do you like, love, or hate it? Townhouse, I have a love/hate relationship with it, I love the size and the low maintenance of it, but I don't like the floorplan and now with kids I want a yard of our own.

13. What would your ideal house/townhouse/condo be? 4/5 bedroom with a mountain view and lots of land with space between us and the neighbors. And it needs to have a lot of trees around.

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? Favorite: Folding towels, it's therapeutic to see that nice square stack when I'm done. Least favorite: cleaning the bathroom. We have 3 and I feel like I am always cleaning them.

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? Nothing that I can remember. It's been kind of slow around here, lol.

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? Cancun and all over the eastern side of the US picking up equipment for our hauling/plowing business.

11. What kind of car do you drive? 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT. It doesn't fit 3 carseats in the back. Just sayin'

This is a good time to introduce myself. I'm Erica and post mostly on the 0-3 and 3rd Tri boards (still I know haha but many of my favs are still there). Here's my answers:

1. Where do you live? Most Northern suburb of NYC that you can get (about an hour 15 min north).

2. Are you in college/grad school and what is/was your major? 170 credits but still no degree. Right now it's in nursing. My story is in my blog if you're curious.

3. How many children do you have / How many total kids do you want? DS is our first and only so far. I would like about 3-4 but I want to be able to afford them and a comfortable living too.

4. When did you go on your first date with DH? Aug 7, 2004. We were married 4 years to the day later.

5. What is your job title? SAHM/part time student

6. What is your favorite day of the week? Why? Anything other than Mon, Tues, Wed (class nights). I'm sick of school.

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? I don' t have a favorite. I don't mind doing the laundry but HATE putting them away. And for some reason I can't get myself to mop the floors.

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? Scoot an do a 180 while on tummy time.

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? We got married in Disney World. His parents paid for us to join them in Cancun which ended up being the trip from Hades. Had a mini vacay to both Atlantic City and Philly on two different occasions.

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future? We hope to move down south - between South Carolina and northern Florida.

11. What kind of car do you drive? RAV 4. Thankfully not a recalled one. Just traded up from a Bug (which I miss terribly).

12. House/apt/townhouse/condo? Do you like, love, or hate it? Live in a mother/daughter with my mom. We're rent free but would love our own place.

13. What would your ideal house/townhouse/condo be? 4 bedroom decent sized home with about an acre of land in the south. Hopefully a small apartment attached so that my father could move in.

6. What is your favorite day of the week? Why? Monday. It's the only day DH has off that we get to spend together. It's like our Saturday.

7. What is your favorite chore? Least favorite? Favorite chore is doing laundry, I just hate putting it away, but sorting and washing is fine with me. I haaaaaaaaaate cleaning the bathroom, but it must be done.

8. What did your DC(ren) do for the first time or discover this week? DS discovered how to read a few words this week and DD has mastered climbing on anything within her reach, lol.

9. Where have you traveled with DH (with/without the kids)? We've went to Clearwater Florida ( Honeymoon) and California sans kiddos...it was our babymoon before we knew we were pregnant with DD.

10. Where do you hope to travel in the future? I really want to go to the Carribean and I'd love to travel throughout Paris and Europe.
