Ever since I was a teenager, I knew my little girls name. Of course then it was Aurora Duchess, LOL 
When DH and I were talking about marriage when we were dating, I told him that I had our daughters name and I didn't care what he had to say about it. It took him awhile to like it. At first he didn't like the name Aurora at all. Then he said it'd be fine as a middle name. By the time we were married it had grown on him, and he really liked Aurora but the middle name had to go and I agreed.
Pre-preg we had agreed on Aurora Rose. But now that she's actually on her way, the comments about "that's way too many 'r's!" and "i hope she doesn't have an elmer fudd lisp and can't say her 'r's" has gotten to me. I now agree that Rose as a middle name may not be the best choice.
We would like something with one syllable, but are not sure on what. I was thinking Grace (someone on here mentioned they were naming their daughter Aurora Grace and I thought it was pretty), but now my cousin who is also pregnant is thinking of Hannah Grace.
Do you think Aurora Rose is a good name, or what other middle names would go well with Aurora?

Aurora Rose is a toungue twister for sure. Plus it honestly doesn't flow well.
What about: Aurora Kate? I like the one syllable choices. Aurora Grace is good too.

We're pretty close. We have game nights together all of the time, and now that we're both pregnant we've been doing so much together. They're team green however, so the middle name might not even be an issue if they have a boy. I like the name Aurora Faith. I'll have to put that on the short list.

Awe I love Aurora lol i'm the one naming mine Aurora Grace! lol but I just love it it just flows really good together and with our last name.. you could try Aurora Kate, Aurora Kay
try putting on syllable words with Aurora and see..

I knew someone here was an Aurora Grace! I was actually shocked that someone else had also choosen Aurora as a first name. Between your LOs name, and the comments from family... Aurora Rose just doesn't sound good anymore.

I agree with this. I like Aurora Grace, too!
Don't worry about what other's name their kids. If you kept all those names in mind there would be none left!
I don't think Aurora Rose is too many r's, but I do like Grace a litter better.
I have love Aurora since the first time I heard it! I just never thought my husband would like it and he LOVES it! As soon as we found out we were having a girl last Monday, he looked at me and said her name going to be Aurora Grace, I'm like sure if you like it.. lol so that's what it is.. and I know noon with that name YET! lol Aurora Rose sounds really pretty together tho.. I mean you can't let other people get to you on your choice of names.. but If YOU think it's not fit then you change it because of that, not because of others.. and if you have someone in your family wanting to use Grace, use it, it doesn't matter
