Should I be concerned that I have absolutey no morning sickness yet? I'm only four weeks and change, don't see my dr for two more weeks. Have I just not hit that point in the pregnancy yet?
I would suggest picking up a baby book or reading up on baby websites.
Yes, the majority of women have morning sickness, but there are also some that never get it (lucky stiffs). But if you're only 4 weeks, don't be too eager, if it does start you'll wonder why you were questioning having it!
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way... my morning sickness didn't kick in until week 7 and has gotten progressively worse. So, while you might be sitting pretty right now.. just WAIT! There's more to come....
HOPEFULLY you will not have to go through the terrible reality that is morning sickness... but it's entirely too early to say you won't get it.
I was a little nauseous during weeks 6-7, but that was it. I'm 12 weeks now, and still nothing. Not everyone gets it. I found that going to the gym really helped alleviate the nausea.
Like all the ladies have said...USUALLY, m/s doesn't start until 6-7 weeks and then it will (hopefully) go away once you enter 2nd tri. Then beware, because it comes back in 3rd tri, just when you think you are almost done....haha. Good luck to you, dear!
Re: No morning sickness?
A) pregnancy does not = m/s. not all women get it and count your lucky stars if you don't. it's miserable.
I didn't have any morning sickness. I think I'm in the clear.
::knock on wood::
If you're only 4 weeks you have plenty of time to get m/s.
I puked for a week straight during my 7th week but then fortunately it was gone. I'm also not as tired as I was in the beginning.
Enjoy it while you can

Well said. Having/not having morning sickness does not mean anything. It sucksif you get it . Mine started after week 6, but luckily it's gone now.
The worse part of my m/s didn't hit me until I was 14-15 weeks. I ended up in the hospital 3 times in two weeks due to dehydration around that time.
thanks.

I have only t/u maybe 6 times, and I've known since Dec 11. As pp said, count your lucky stars if you don't have m/s at all.
If you do get it, and you like salt and vinegar chips, try stomaching some of those. They work better than saltines...
no m/s here.
i didn't have morning sickness. that's probably why i didn't realize i was pregnant until 10 wks. my mom didn't either with any of us.
