Do you have any vitamin or mineral or whathaveyou levels that aren't where they should be -- especially when it comes to TTC hormone levels?
I haven't eaten red meat in about 17 years or so -- but I do eat chicken and turkey a few times a week. I've had serious fatigue issues for almost that long.
Therefore, I was tested all the time for anemia and such (which was always normal) before I determined that I don't get any B12 in my diet. Yay, fatigue is nearly gone!
But now I'm concerned that I'm lacking in other stuff so I should go to a holistic doctor to check. Has anyone done this, and what have you found?
Re: Non-red-meat eaters (and others): Vitamin deficiencies?
My BFP Chart
I guess the B12 is in meats like liver and stuff that a lot of burger-eaters don't regularly eat. So that was all that your blood tests revealed, the low B12?
My regular doc tested "everything" he said; then he finally gave up and sent my for hormone testing through my obgyn. So I'm definitely going to go to a holistic doctor if I want other testing, but I'm just wondering what kinds of things people have found.
Thanks!
Yeah, my vitamin D levels were always fine. Well, maybe a hair on the low side but still normal.
