BFP after a BFN with a concern (TMI)

Hi ladies

Tested a week and a half ago and got two BFNs, but something made me test again last night and I got a BFP!

My questions is, I have some very slight bleeding. Only when I wipe and a brownish colour - not red. I've had it for the last four-five days (I thought I was getting AF). Has anyone else ever had this? I'm not reallty worrried, I just wonder of my body is still catching up so its going thru the motions of AF as it normally would.

Thoughts?

    Bleeding/spotting during early pregnancy is very common.  It could mean something or it could mean absolutely nothing.

    I took a test, got a BFN, had some brown spotting, thought it was my period, it stopped, I was curious, took another test, got a BFP.  When I called the OB's office to set up my first appointment, I told them about the spotting and they were not concerned at all.  Spotting has stopped now...  I wouldn't worry about brown spotting.  Check with the OB if you need reassurance.

    Chances are, its left over blood from implantation.  Dont worry about it unless it turns pink or red

    AF was due on a sunday for me. Took a test saturday morning and got a BFN. Took another monday after no AF still and still BFN. yet another BFN on Wed with no AF. Finally got a positive on Thursday with a digital test. Also had the light brown spotting all that week. I'm now approaching 12 weeks! Good Luck!

    Could be related to implantation. And like other posters said spotting is often common in pregnancy. But if at anytime you just feel nervous (about anything) and wonder if you should call your dr then make the call.  You will feel so much better!
