The colic is back, I knew I'd jinx myself, you stupid a$$ why did you have to make the claim that it was finally gone.... I just don't know what to do, had to get this off my chest (the whole update is on my blog) I'm completely devastated right now and I just let LO CIO for 8 minutes and I bawled the entire time with him but he finally stopped and went to sleep.... oh dear god when is this going to end.....
Re: My effing nightmare is back, how am I going to do this?
Momma Maven In The Making!
**hugs**
I just read your blog. I'm so so sorry, hun! And as much as you don't want to burden the people asking to help, even just taking an hour or two for yourself will do wonders, I promise!
I am so sorry....but please know that it is in no way shape or form your fault.
I can't even imagine. I am so sorry.
I really do think you guys will be over this soon, though. It's really rare for colic to persist past four months.
In the meantime, you absolutely NEED to accept help and support when offered. You family will live through a few hours of his screaming, I promise. Your mental health (and therefore your baby's well being) rely on you taking care of you sometimes.
Hang in there and please let your family help!!
Momma Maven In The Making!
It will get better...
shouting shut up at him is really sad.
I feel sorry for your LO.
get some help.
I feel your pain...LO has reflux and dairy/soy allergies that we still working out... poor guy hasn't been on anything (other than BM for the first 2 weeks) longer than a week due to his allergies...went from BM to Sensitive RS (for the reflux) but that consitpated and gave him aweful gas, then to Gentlease which gave him very liquidy mucus green poop, to Soy which constipated him again now we are on Alimentum (liquid only since the powder stopped him up, damn corn powder) and since day 12 of his life the screaming has not stopped... I just cry with him sometimes and remind myself THIS TO SHALL PASS and that he won't remember any of this when he is older!
take all the help from your family you can get...
Prayers sent your way!
It will get better, I promise. I have living proof that it gets better (DD). I have to tell myself this same thing everyday with DS because he is SO SO SO SO SO incredibly fussy/colicky/refluxy whatever!!!
Definitely allow your friends and family to take him for a while. You would not believe what an hour break can do for your sanity.....do it for yourself and your little one. He can sense your frustration too.
