How do you warm bottles when you're out somewhere?

We usually use the ready-to-drink formula, which is at room temp, but I'm going out shopping with some family on Sunday - we'll be out for a while and I'd like to use expressed breast milk. She won't drink it cold. I looked online at travel bottle warmers but they got awful reviews. Any suggestions?

  • I carry a plastic drink cup with me and fill it with warm water in a bathroom.  The bottle is warm within minutes.

  • How long will you be out? If it's under 6 hours, I pump right before I leave and give her those bottles at room temp.  If you'll be out longer, use and ice pack in your bag.  When you eat, ask for a mug of hot water.
  • I usually pop into a restaurant and ask for a cup of hot water.

This. But I use the expressed if it's under 8 hours.

  • I bring bottle breastmilk in cooler with me. If I am in a restaurant I ask for a warm cup of water and I set bottle in it. If I am out and about I will sit down and stick it between my legs. Body heat heats it pretty quickly. I also get it out of the cooler ahead time.

  • Have you seen this https://www.mamaista.com/2009/05/14/warm-me-up-scotty/  It's a bottle that heats your milk for you when you're on the go...
