Anyone's doc sign off on 1/2 work days?

I'm about 29wks...I work 10+ hours a day, and have a 2yr old at home, going to school, my DH is gone for work about 1/2 of each month which means I'm taking on all duties...I'm exhausted. I feel like crap. I realize this is all a part of pregnancy; I've been pregnant many times before but I've never been this tired or crappy feeling...is this enough for my doc to sign off on 1/2 days? Or do I need to be severely incapacitated? I feel like a slacker asking but I'm getting desperate for some type of relief. I'm going to ask at my next appt just to see what he suggests.

    I would just voice your concerns to your doc and tell him you feel like you are going to break.  Your doc may very well sign off on you working 1/2 days.  Good Luck!

    I think every Dr is different, but it definately doesn't hurt to try! Voice your concerns and see what he says!

    I think it all depends on your doctor.  When I asked mine about his policy for maternity leave his response was "when do you want to stop working?"  So basically it was left completely up to me.
