I just had my NT scan this morning and while the tech said it was too early to be certain, based on her experience she thought the baby was a girl. (Sooo excited!!). I'm just curious if anyone else has experience with early gender detection and if they ended up having the gender they were told in the early u/s.

my tech said she was pretty sure it was a boy at my 12 week 5 day scan (although baby was measuring 13 wks 3 days)....
found out boy for sure at 18 weeks!
They don't actually have exposed genitals yet, but they can tell by the angle of how the genitals are growing. If it's parallel with the baby it's usually a girl and if it's angled up it's usually a boy. It thought this article was interesting https://www.baby2see.com/gender/study_ultrasound.html.
